Dilated - Thanks , I want to treat the human forms well in my painting, keeping it all vital. Its great you can sense that. Thanksa lot.

Interesting Bhanu... love the shapes you have going on! I'm not too sure about the balloon though. I find it cheapens the image and takes away from the overall feel of the piece. That's just my opinion though.

Sketch- hey man , you werent wrong, we both the same thing in the painting, the balloon made the painting look like a hack job. So I edited it, now I think its far better, how good the whole painting might be, thats another thing.

Extollere - Thanks eh. Well I dig steve huston's work , but I think alex kanevsky, francis bacon and phil hale have had a stronger influence. I guess you found the influence in the similarity between all the male figures ,especially he and I .

Hey man long time no see

and what a lot to see here too. Bro, you've improved 10-fold. Your sense of composition is astounding - you're making good decisions and you're sticking with them. The acrylics are exuding a type of confidence in ability that most artists can only dream of. Your painting as matured well.

If I had to crit anything I'd say work some more on your colours - you already have a fairly good colour sense, now jumble it all up, do some more experimentation. I think that your figures will also mature more with time, but believe me they are doing a damn good job of freaking me out right now.

My, my, by and by, believe it folks - this is one of the best sketchbooks on here. Period.

where have you been bro?
been too long I think. Wont happen again.
Thanks alot man. FOr the crits. Yeah, I am around to knowing my colors now. But its still a bit unclear about too much experimentation, I do that too, but on the sidepieces, somehow I am a bit scared of muddying up the color mixing(you remember how my mixing was, all murky grays), but yeah the only way to get better is push harder.Will do that sir, please keep a tab on my experiments though.
And about the composition, I have been trying to crack the basics and see how much can they be cracked, broken or bent? I really want to create a compositional language that relates the primal selves in us. Something that deals with more than just the intellectual, and i want to do calculatingly, lets see how that goes, all I know is that I have a semblence of a path to move on. And that becomes so much better , with you around, and the rest of the friends.
