Hey thanks for posting at my sb! you've got some really cool drawings. It's great that our using loomis, it helped me a lot.
Keep posting man, oh and that one dude is Bruce Willis right.
some more dogs for my cous
ive been playing tooo much WoW...
this site is acting up on my thread, any way i could fix it somtimes i cannot connect somtimes i can!
anyways, updated doggies.
holy crap two days in a row posting!?
k heres some cool designs and then some digital painting while taking a break from the dogs.
i finished one of the doggies!
hey, glad you're updating again. Hardest part about drawing is sitting down and doing it, and then to keep doing it when you get frustrated (which is pretty much inevitable when you get the first step down). Looks like your figures are getting better proportions etc. For things like the elephant - check out some real elephants - you can't actually see their eyes because they have huge eyelashes and deep eye sockets. Their noses and faces are covered in wrinkles - which is a good excuse to show form with "wireframe" lines. Dogs are looking good. I really like the two paintings that make up one picture.
Biggest crit is your tendency to not post for a month and then post 5 times in one day. I'd rather see a drawing a day, even a crap sketch, than not see anything for months and then get some good stuff. Mix it up, keep it consistant. Looking forward to more.
hey, im gunna try and post once a day, just for you fishspawn : )
cept this weekend... going to new hampshire then moving back into boston lol
so this wont last long, but i will be back on thursday i hope!
heres a digi im workin alongside of my dogs, i kinda like it, iono!
i did some pencils earlier but i dont have a scanner or a camera at the moment,
later.
Yay. I think the digi has promise but it looks like you're rushing it. It would be smarter to block in the whole pose first, making sure it's balanced and proportioned correctly, before putting in any color or details like the folds on the clothing. From what i can see of the character i like him, and you did a great job on that hand, that's a tricky hand pose to do. Good luck posting every day until the weekend and after your return, that daily commitment, if held, will yield huge dividends in the future.
todays dutiesduties, hah!
Don't let this book fall into oblivion![]()
updated for fishspawnthnks dood!
this project i am taking 8 friends of mine and turning them into a cast for a zombie movie that takes place in my dorms. hahaha.
Heh, i love zombies. Good job, tons of improvement from your last digi! I think some of the scribles on the outside of the page distract my eye a little because it looks like detail, but then it's not, so you might want to rework those areas with bigger brushes or smoother transitions - or just actually put in detail! Looking forward to those other 6
...love the first guy's pose...
THE ZOMBIEEEESSS
k this is 3/6 doods, enjoy!
(no more zombies left, all real people from now on : ( )
here are two more, matt and kait!
only one left, they're all due tuesday, oh crap!
i think this first one is my least favorite =\ i couldnt think of what to put in the image other than himself, even he is boring too =\
here is a sculpture of an old time Thor that i did for my drawing class
it was my first ever sculpture, i used this stuff called plastaline. like clay, little harder, but it doesnt dry its pretty cool. very oily.
i took more pics, but they all came out blurry so ill repost.
below those is a sweet skull picture for the same class![]()
I Like the sculpture muchA lot of your hatchwork looks like it has no thought to it - try to be more careful and either follow the form with all of it or none of it.
here is an illustration i did.
it is a facility in which scientists are mixing two versions of ebola with the common cold to make a bio weapon. They are testing it on people to get exact reactions, rather than using monkeys. The victim that was infected with a strain of Ebola Reston that was geneticly engineered to effect humans has escaped. Ebola Reston was found in Reston, VA. It is a strain of Ebola that can infect via airborn allergines, originally harmless to humans. So if you see somone wandering the streets spewing out thier melted insides, run as fast as you can away, and hold your breath!
Thanks for stopping by my sketchbook. You're improving steadily. More drawing from life will help. I noticed on those last batch of self portraits and the sketches of the towel and backpack it says you did them very quickly. At this point I think it would be better for you to take your time drawing these, so you can understand what you're drawing and why it looks the way it does. Once you understand how the forms work you'll be able to draw them faster, and more accurately.
haha
I enjoy the zombies quite a bit, especially the chicks in the flashlight beam.
"Shoot them/ Get out" heh
I'm no expert at wacom (at all), but I'd say use bigger brushes, and use "undercoats" or whatever they're called (separate layer, multiplied, of a color at 40% or whatever, to give the picture an over all tone).
That skull owns, and I quite like this last one...pretty strange.
Keep it up, look at naked people!
been a long ass while, i uninstalled my games. i plan on reading working and drawing a lot more ;P
first landscapersss
i need to make the moon look bigger, need a moon texture know any good ones?
i think im going to make the ground smaller - less of it.
this is a WIP along with the portrait above~!
