I feel my colours have improved, though I feel a lack of underlying knowledge sometimes. Think I have to refresh my mind with colour-theory.

I am still not ready to let this sketchbook die out. I will improve my posting. A lot has been going on. One major thing is a goal I have had since 2005, when I joined CA. "To go to a Workshop Event". This year it seems like it is happening. SF here I come!

I have no excuses. I have been neglecting this sketchbook for far too long. I am going to try and change that. SO, I am going to try and update if not daily, then at least weekly.

kidult : Thank you, I am doing studies too. Every day. Though dont always like to post them. I´m still not fond about the damn uploader here on CA, but I hear a new one is on its way.

Anyways, I have been super busy lately. Getting settled in Australia, and starting all my classes at Curtin University (Perth). So far I am extremely happy with the quality of the classes. Already been given assignments, which have been taking most of my time. I´ll post those during the week if I get around to it.

I also got invited to a private SpeedPainting group on Facebook. Me and a few friends from Norway, so here are a few of those. All done in about 20-30 min, some less...

Been sooo busy with school assignments, but hey, that only means I can show more eventually. Just trying to balance things so I get time for personal shit. Here is an example of that:

The middle one was the school assignment, whilst the other two are something I have been cooking up during breaks and little spare time! Used the same technique for them all. The assignment was to use random photos we were given (149) and use them to create a character. No initial idea or sketching, just using the photos to generate the character. Letting those happy accidents happen. Hope you like, and I am hoping to push the two other characters to the same level, though it is proving difficult...

Lupre: Are you studying at Curtin? Or have you? -Yeah I am super happy about having come here. Well worth it. And though there is a lot of work to do, I am happy. -but man do I hate chicago referencing my research. So damn time-consuming!

More speedpaints. -cause I basically do not have time for any other personal work. But I have been trying to put in some more time on the finals, which I think is paying off. Also, no, I am not neglecting studies!

Haha, you come up with some crazy looking aliens and monsters, man. And some of the detail you put into your work is super great. Do you use the x-symmetry function in photoshop to do your portrait drawings? If you do, I really need to get cs5...

MrFrenik : Thank you! Actually most of my work is done in Painter.. or actually I shouldn´t say that seeing sometimes I only use PS. I actually use both alongside each other. I constantly swap from Painter to PS. I know many people hate Painter, but to me the two software's together is the way to go. I have actually been recording some of these speedpaintings lately, I´ll start posting those too!
