here are some of the pictures that i lost when my hard drive crashed (13000 pics total). luck that i had some of the pics downloaded to some server at the time, but they are all just the small versions. after losing these photos i have remembered to burn my photos more often.![]()

latest.

this one isn't sharp and it's a bit poor in many ways.. but i still like it for some reason

one of the successful photos taken yesterday

It's cool. I just think you need to co-ordinate your colors.
I cant figure if you want the road to be the object of interest.. or the silhouettes of the people to be the subject of focus. But you should desaturate either the sky or the road.
Claude
No, not really. The photo is very good. No need for extra post processing. Maybe just a frame. bu really, dont chop it, it would be a pitty. Besides, photomanipulating the piece by desaturating the sky kills trhe whole idea of photography... and ussually, even tho some might argue, it creates kitsch.
Holy wall is also good, would love to see in colors.
The boat picture, i do understand the centered compo but i'd rather have a non-centered one
Cheers dude!
i am thinking bout buying on canon 350D.
I am an amateur but i still wanna make great pictures and i wonder if thats a camera for me?
other cameras i looking at is Sony A100 and Nikon D80.
What is your and maby others suggestion?
btw i really like your pics...especially the one in the park at night..nice lights there..
thanks claudeEGYPT to ur opinion and vision, i thou see the image like it is and think it's better this way. but everyone has their own visions about images.
yes the boat picture did not work as perfectly as i hoped.. i had 300mm lence on without tripod and it was pretty dark weather at the time. this was the best one i got from that set. it could have been much better but can't win everytime.Originally Posted by Le Gab

unfortunately i don't have holy wall with colors.
thanks

I have to say, while it is a great range with lots of interesting shots, my favourite is by far and away the second 'band' photo of mostly arms in the crowd, that really spoke to me. Keep it up!

Now a Canon wench, but still rocking the Pentax styles as well until little red lines start appearing around my lenses.
thanks klips.unfortunately that was on of the images that i lost when the hard drive crashed. and this reminds me that i should burn my images again.
haven't done that for a while..
here is part of the autumn set i took friday. enjoy!
-morf
Looking good, mate 8)
I like the crispness on the autumn photos and the little girl with the twelve-pack casing is one of me favourites as well![]()
thanks T.Luu, the twelve-pack girl is one of my favs photos too. for me it looks like a real finnish way to spend first spring days at park, drinking and having fun with friends.and in some cases, bringing your kids along to see what they should be doing in 20 years.

i got lots of good pics that day, mostly of these three kids that were hanging in the park with their parents. and some pics of the young people having a good time.all the pics of that day is on my page if you got interested.
and here are more autumn photos. these have been on my about a month already, but as the season is still on, i thought i could send these here also

I like it. Nice mood. It would be stronger with a more defined subject though, and the horizon is tilted (which is easily fixed).
I got the 350D just before the summer too, I love it but the kit lens is not that good, (i found out when i got my Canon 50/1.8 ). So Im thinking of getting a new lens some time soon. (christmas and birtday coming up!)
ah, i didn't even notice that horizon was tilted.. but yea, that's easy to fix.rest of the pictures of that spot were without the sailing boat.. but i think it's not the subject of the image.. it's the scenery in general.. if there were some bigger boat or something like that it would make the photo even better thou.. well got to go with what you have.
thanks for noticing the horizon thingie
i have that same lence too ( 50/1.8 ) and couple more.. should get a new and better one but money (that i don't have) would help in that.
cheers

few photos i took yesterday from foggy Helsinki. i ended up playing with neat image again.. but i think they look better.. or different atleast.
