These are not bad. I think that summer heat would have to be my favourite, mainly for the composition and colours.
PS: The flower is a chrysanthemum if memory serves. Couldn't you have just done it of a rose? Easily identifiable and a lot easier to spell![]()

Now a Canon wench, but still rocking the Pentax styles as well until little red lines start appearing around my lenses.
There is a certain beauty in the softness and lack of focus of the pears. It is some of your best works, I have to say.
The lighpaintings, i really would have enjoyed them if they were partially focused.
Keep up!
klips: Thanx, lol.
Le Gab: Thanx. The light paintings are random stock photos to try to add more off-the-wall inspiration for drawings and what-not.

Some really excellent work here! I love Summer Heat, Playing with Pastels, and The Learning curve. I'd like to see more vibrant color explorations like Summer Heat. You've got a great eye for the black and white. Keep up the good work!
DivideByZero: Thanx and I do too! lol I wish there was a color lab for photography at my school because I would be splitting my time between black & white and color. For color I either used my film camera and went to a commercial developer or used my digi cam (which is now broken T_T).

I like your work but sometimes the composition is empty.
Try to fill your creations with a "living" subject, give a mean to ebery image.

42. Anticipation: Picnic tables using a pinhole camera (Converted Nikon 2000 - color 35mm film)

I tried to play with my composition a bit more in this set and some other unposted ones. More black and white pinholes will be posted as soon as my portfolio is graded. OH... 4x5 film is the devil, lol!

diggin the dynamics of 40, that ground's alive!
Hi there,
first of all, I am enjoying your notes on technical data very much. Keep them up, it's always interesting to see what lead to the pics.
little question: what kind of b/w film are you using?
the pinhole self portraits as well as those of the pair of feet (first ones) belong to my favourite pinhole shots. I have looked at quite a few, because I find the simplicity behind them so appealing, but more often than not I get the feeling that people are already happy with the fact that the shots came from a pinhole and don't add anymore value to the shots... or at least the pics look like it. So, that's different about your pinhole pics, imo.
And your self portraits have a great sense of humour...
Looking forward to updates.
For the "Through" series, I used Ilford HP5 Plus.
For the other B/W photos, I used Color Negative film developed by a commercial processor and I printed the negatives I liked myself.
Umm, "B'e" was taken with 4x5 film made by Ilford.
The other B/W pinholes were done using paper negatives: Ilford Multigrade IV RC Deluxe Photo Paper.
Some linkage for ya: www.ilford.com, www.camerasbrookwood.com & www.pinholeresource.com
I hope that answered your question! ^_^;
Yeah, I have TONS of paper and film negatives that will never see the light of day (as finished photos) because they were too "snapshotty" for me.

It's really great too see you experimenting. In the words of EazyM "experimenting's soothing to the soul".
2 thumbs up on the feet photos. Keep posting and I'll keep being delighted.![]()
Did I say that?By the way 34 and 37 are brilliance in print
Thanx guys.
Here are two more from that color pinhole day. In conclusion, I like the weird color and hazy effect it makes, but I'm thinking it works better for slightly abstract nature pieces (like #41).
Oh, I got an "A" in "Alternative Photography." *does happy dance*
43. Tsalugi: The Parthenon in Nashville, TN using a pinhole camera (Converted Nikon 2000 - color 35mm film)

- f/~400 --- Exposure: 18 seconds --- ISO 800
45. Empty: Conceptual piece using a pinhole camera (photographic paper)
- f/~400 --- Exposure: 30 seconds --- ISO 12 & Darkroom: Filter: 1.5 --- 12 seconds --- f/3.5

Congrats on the A, dudete!
Yeah you did, it's somewhere in my thread.(dont ask, i could find a propor smiley)
In this update, The Parthenon is your strongest. Even tho not in focus there are deffinitelly some good shapes to suggest something in there. The others tend to be abstract (and thats not bad either)
Cheers!
