Well first, great updates! I really like the first bodies.
About the one you're trying to color, the bg of blends of colors looks really good, but I think that the character, needs more light, but I dunno if you are painting from shadow to light, if that's so, i'll wait to comment on the next update... if not, I'd recommend you use more light colors and another thing i noticed, was that, nothing in the character contrasts, except for dots in the knee and the things in the shoulders, so maybe put up some diferent tones on all the clothes so it would contrast, hope this is useful...

    Keep updating please!

Wow, once again you blow me away with your masterful knowledge of anatomy. Absolutely love the dynamic poses.

Would you be so kind as to offer me some advice about improving anatomy?
I know there's the usual copying anatomy and figure drawing, but is there anything else to it?
    Thank you.

Pixie Bergman, thanks man, my drawing in qca? must be some very old drawings, unfortunately the lunch time of creative assembly is different from krome, so very difficult to draw with you guys, I will try through thanks for invite, I am trying to work more on color critiques are welcome

HunterKiller_, thanks man I will have a look of your drawing for sure

DHTenshi, thank you very nice for your comment, in weekdays after work I have little time to work on the character, so I can only update it in weekend, but sure it is just a basic color block out nothing detail, I will put update this weekend

crazybrush, thanks man I love your sketchbook too, the avatar you have is your own drawing if yes can you show it?

    King Cobra, CHARLES CARVALHO, thanks

try to paint some quick 1 hour color exercises these they are, critiques are most welcome!!

Your grasp of form and your knowledge of anatomy never ceases to impress Love the painted figures in this most recent one, but the initial lines you posted as well are just beautiful. How you're able to draw so cleanly and confidently while being accurate and having a bit of your own style in it is beyond me lol.

Crit-wise all I would say is that you might want to add a bit more of the environment's color reflecting onto the figures, very subtle as they might be. You've got their tone reflecting a bit onto the surrounding surfaces(at least in the one with the blue background), so maybe just reflect it back to them as well A very minor suggestion, but yea hope I could help a bit. Keep up the great work man!

    Thanks for you reply!

Yeah, I'm always doing my anatomy studies from text books, I need to use more references of real people.

Yes, I am Chinese. I live in New Zealand, and I've forgotten how to write or read Mandarin. T.T

... Hey! You live in Australia! Are you coming to the Wellington workshop! Please do!

    This is hellla great dude!!

your anatomy studies of the males slightly reminds me of basketball players for some reason

holy sexy chic readin batman! beaut stuff, your lines blow my mind. your paints are coming along nicely, tho i think it is still losing the beauty in your lines by covering them up. but the colors themselves are getting pretty close. good work.

    risingfromashes, thanks

TOOLED!, thanks this is my main problem for ages because my color practices are far less then my line practices, but now I am deciding to catch it up

chuck18mp, jedininjaman, zulu, Sky_Eagle, HyperGiant, thanks

Hygami, thanks , I drew a lot of basketball players before, I don't remember how long I drew actually

HunterKiller_, nice site a lot of nice posts, can you peak Chinese too? Wellington workshop I have nope idea about that

Quigleyer, that picture is drawn 2 years ago

Onir, nice suggestion I will put more bounce light from environment to the character next time, about the clean line I drew a quick draft version first and draw on top of it

this time I spent two hours on each of those new color exercises

Yeah I do speak mandarin, just casual stuff though. Can't really understand like any formal stuff. T.T

Nice new figures. I enjoy your lines.

you like the hot babes I like the body studies u did , there are realy dynamic.
The color girls u did in to 2h are more worked than the last one... you should continue to work like that.
watch out to don't use the same green palette for your last environment, we don't feel depth of field

I just went through the first and last page real quick before going to bed and had to drop a line. This sketchbook is really nice. You have very natural way to draw and I'm sure that's because of all the studies you've done. Great job.

I was curious if these nudes on the last page are from life or photo reference or from the top of your head.

    Cheers mate.
