Dude...you are my new hero. I've never seen anyone draw a back view of an entire scene. You are either really bored or really...phuckin sick. Listen to my guy Mins, he'll lead you down the destruction path.

Just great! Yeah dude chill a bit... You're miles ahead of most.

Color doesn't matter as much as value. I still suck at it too...but keep going!

    Beautiful lines and figures!

Learning basic about value is not fun, drawing spheres all the time, well I still spend some time to draw characters otherwise I will loose the ability to create character, value fuck me up hardly, also I draw some more boring comics and life drawings as well, those two value pictures are not yet done through just working progress

Cwn Annwn, agree with you about that bumskee also remind me I should work more on that

Stark, destrauction haha yeap I follow him for sure, the back view is done because I am freak out by the boring cimic I need to finish, well I have another boring comic need to do so .............

bumskee, yeap man I am doing value now

panda, thank you, yeap I like comic so much but never have a chance to draw a cool one

    BohemianChaos, nah I am lazy

    ravenslayer, thank you man

Zynic, that picture is another faliure to me, really bad value so I am not sure I will color it too, but I will think about that

    kuroart, thanks

slooie, thank you, you just need more and more drawing you will be fine

The first 2 are sick. I like the life drawing that you've done here. The first one though looks off on her extended arm (our right her left). It might be some funky perspective or something. Not quite sure.

Keep at it man and don't worry about values and how to practice them. Just pick something simple to understand it and then work your way up. An understanding is what you want and I think starting from a boring sphere or cube and then moving to a texahedron to bucky cube would help out. You don't have to stick with traditional ways if you want to try to understand something. Venture out and see what works for you.

Love the whole thread. I spent a while looking at it all and bookmarked you so I can check back later! I really have nothing to say other than really cool!

I like seeing the comic work too. Inspires me to get to work on my comic. I like that the comic story seems very real life. You don't see that as often. It's very refreshing.

    Look forward to seeing more!

ps. your colors are great even though they may not be where you would like them to be

you are my favorite person in life. Some day ill catch up to you. >: ( chea

Your line quality is amazing. Do you just start rough, crazy lines, and then just make a new layer and make better lines? So damn hard to make such good lines.

Good to see your stuff, always get inspired while looking at your sketchbook.

Donovan V, yeap I really like life drawing give you a lot of practise on thinking the anatomy, but the bad thing is you need to pay so you better drink less and spoke less haha and give up any party ideas

    dhilipsomesh,ha ha

    HunterKiller_, thanks

agelaos, thank you you are in brisbane? if you are we can have life drawing together haha, yeap I do start with mess line and clean up just on top it in same layer so some textures can be maintained

pennington, thank you, yeap I do think about human boday as 4 main parts, I will do a example for you next time, my color is not good which I try to improve urgently

Artguy, thank you, I love comic, yeap the one I am doing is very real life, but I like some blood some cruel some chicks in comic, hat muscular guy through, but never have that kind of opportunity to work on a comic like that, what comic you are working on?

Stark, thanks man I will check the arm, you always have some interesting suggestions, yeap I need to practise but everyone has a way, to me I don't mind anyway as long as I can achieve what I want

Very awesome. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I prefer your value study over the pencils! You did get that one right, so I must say it's kind of hard to tell what it is she is doing with that cross. The comic looks awesome, wish there were some words to go with it though

Tom, leave Herman alone and do ya own update! You've got enough to worry about IdiotApathy!

EDIT: I forgot about the two toned colors up top. Damn you. That's all. Looks good too

What can i say... a total waoo.... Look through ur sketchbook in one go and ur character designs blow me away. Ur work is definitely not bullshit as u always describe...!! Give credit to urself !!

Personally I have a problem with getting dynamic and interesting costumes/armor on my characters.. Any advise on that?

Awesome update! And what is happening with your characters, is it just me or are you using less details? These last 2 look a lot more readable then your earlier characters I think

Duq, thanks man you are right I do reducing the details for those two characters which make them easier for put value on, bumskee has same point of view as you

Mydrako, thanks, I have to say 1) work on your anatomy first becasue all costumes are put on the body so they will go with the body, 2)then you should think about the materials, like metal they will blow by strong wind and rotate a bit but cloth will be fold and blow away totally, and metal is heavier so it will press on the material under it, 3) think about the action and reation thing not sure those are helpful or not

Idiot Apathy, thanks man I like those things very cute cartoonic stuffs by the way I have to say again your tutorials help me to leave suicide in the dark time thanks

Stark, thanks man you always post here and I am appreciate you give me a lot of interesting suggestions. About that girl she is a vampire hunter kind of the female version of blade, she just play that cross with her tongue, I thought that is sexy maybe not really work with you haha

another cartoonic work I have done for my mom

    WOW.

    Wow.

    I'm blown away.

Your anatomy & values are astounding. I have a crappy anatomy book. I think your life drawings are a better teacher of anatomy than that book.
