Thanks guys!!
Here is an update on these guys. Not sure if I want to go any further or not...
I'm not sure about the pose/proportions of the first guy. He is lifting his right shoulder and lowering his left, squashing his right arm and stretching his left. But his left arm doesn't reach to his knees or further. Maybe you can lift his knees and lower his left arm a bit.
Other the that, nice pencils.
Whoo, I really like the feel of the last two. Keep up the hard work. Make sure you are doin your studies!1!!!1!!
Man your pencil stuff looks incredible. I Love it. Overall, your work looks great. Keep posting.
Thanks guys! Here's some studies Goog! Many many more to come!
Seargent studies (100% opacity, no blending)

I think I'm starting to feel more comfortable sketching on the comp..
Update. Bed time..
Here is how I've gotten so far today on this...
Some bi-peds of various natures/styles..
Sargent study...
looks good, although to bad that you didnt take it further, this is just a quick paint.
work one out full detail!![]()
Great, Sargent studies are always fun to do. You can do quicker ones just to get the colors right, but like Grafguy mentioned, do some longer studies too.
Great.
THANKS FOR VISITING MY THREAD. YOUR WORK IS GOOD AND SPECIALLY THE ACCESSIORIES AND VEHICLES. I LIKE YOUR STYLE A LOT.
MY SKETCHBOOK

loads of good stuff happening here man - the enviros in particular are looking sound as. and the master studies are cool too - good idea to do the 100% brush opacity/no blending thing, i assume its really good practice (i havent tried it yet, but it looks pretty useful)
keep churning them out mate![]()
Really like the last grasshopper man. I checked out your sketch book from pg9 about to present. I want to see how this new enviro works. The others are really messy in a good way. Looks like a lot of paint was used (if it wasn't digi).
I quite like the enviro at the top of this page. Very nice sb! Paying a bit more attention to the balance of your characters and creatures is a general area you might want to work on. If you draw a line between the feet of a char. and just guestimate the centre of that line (taking perspective into consideration), then draw a line straight up, it will give you the general centre of balance, and therefore where the head tends to be. It doesn't work 100% of the time, especially if there is more weight on one foot, but for general purposes, it works out fine.
If there were one thing I would suggest other than that, it would be to do more from life.
Keep up the awsomeness!![]()
i think the insect creature looks really great mate.I like both rendering and design.
Keep going!!!

You have some really cool enviros here. Good use of color IMO!
On the characters, sometimes there's some mistakes (but don't we all do them?), but that's ok. The Sargent studies look very good though!
heya, keep coming with the updates, hope you're doing something for self portrait day![]()
Cant wait to see more![]()
flippin sweet studies! moar, dude. moar!
