    Talking Magic Forrest

    This is something I've been working on a bit. I haven't done much background/scenery painting or drawing. Comments and Crits are welcome.

    I think you should start fading out the "green" layer more and the "black" layer even moreso. You're not showing any atmospheric perspective. It'll help create some distance in your pic.
    You are a level 8 ninja and even though you have a lot of weapons sometimes your ninja moves are your most powerful.

    I agree with silverstone that the further something is the more admosphere is in between. This is why you don't expect the darkest trees to be the furthest. The colors are nice, but can use some more variation. The emboss filter makes the grass look very flat. The grass on the foreground looks a lot more believable
