Blizzard contest entry - "Critical Inertia"

Well, since the Blizzard submission server seems to be totally FUBAR and my entry isn't getting put in... might as well post here to get some of your opinions. I guess you snooze, you loose... and I just finished this today after starting it yesterday. Heh. Work has kept me buisy.

It's the character Nova fighting my version of a Hydralisk from the cancelled game Starcraft:Ghost for those of you still in the dark.

Sheesh... "Sending request to www.blizzard.com" still showing in the status bar. It's said that for the last 10 minutes. I bet alot of kids are spamming the 'send' button. Ugh... "Problem loading page...". It's going to be a long night.

Hey, Cenobite. Nice to see another competition. You got a really strong composition. I really like the Hydralisk. Wished I could see it colored, though. My only crit is the hand holding the hydralisk looks off. You may also need to check your junk mail. I had the same problem sending the files but when I check the junk mail a couple of days later, I found the confirmation Email there. It's because they are sending the email with a blocked return address so no one can send anything back.

Yah, the hand is a bit big... (I guess from the gloves?) and the legs are a bit off... but i tried alot of different poses for them and this simple one i liked the best.

and here is the colored version now that we had a couple extra days to work on this. Not happy with it, but don't feel like doing any more with it.
