    So here we go.

Even though its pages back, I must say I really adore this particular picture. You've nailed my secret love for pale/albino-ish figures with bright red makeup. Lovely lovely lovely lovely!

PS: Referring to the picture in your avatar of course

Kaffinated- thank you man. yeah I am gonna take some shots of the progrress of the next painting. just for you

Goog- Thank you man! Composition is definitely one of the major things I am trying to keep in my mind as I go along

aedman- thank you man! Thanks for teh advice, I will keep that in mind

Iddi- thanks man, great to have you here!

    Junck- Thanks a lot!

Eurysaces- thanks dude, yeah I feel that "my way" of painting is definitely going into the direction of mixing figurative stuff (or "real" objects in general") with abstract elements, well lets see where this is going

algenpfleger- thanks man, great to hear that!

    Ankh- Thanks!

and another bumpy update. Actually "only" teh finished piece. Actually I am quite happy with it. Gonna update with some drawings sometime in teh next few days..gees I'm so lazy

the painting here reminds me a bit of justin mortimer...just a bit.
The composition is lovely. Wierd edge use. I like the erratic feel to some of the edges.
    BRAVO.

Beautiful work here. Loving the pencil rendering techniques, and I'm always a fan of anything with hazy surreal imagery. Looking forward to more!

Weird shit, as one friend of mine says, and it's the highest compliment. When I see your paintings, I want to go back to oils, and this after after a lifetime resenting oils (or rather: oils resenting me). Looking very much forward to what you will do when you start to paint "real" paintings :-)
PS: just discovered the portrait from april- that *is* bloody amazing. :-O

uh replies! great to see you guys in here!!

    D@niel- Thank you dude!

    My57- Thanks!

bhanu- Thank you, man! great to have your opinion in here!

    Locus- Thanks a lot mate!

mave_le_monkey- Thank you, yeah mixing "realistic" style with abstract shapes is actually the thing thats the most fun in painting for me!

Uli- Thank you a lot man! hope to have you around in here for some more replies

Flaskpost- Thank you man! as you will see in that update I just need to take more time to get the right lighting conditions to get more or less decent shots of the pencils. Actually I wouldn't even update these pencils with that quality but I wanna keep that thread alive at least somehow

So here are some VERY crappy shots of some of the stuff I've been up to recently. Actually I feel bad about posting these in such a bad quality, kinda drags them down even more As soon as I have soem time I will photograph them under more or less professional conditions.

The photos are good enough man, we can tell what's going on! Invest the time in more drawings instead. Looking good there! Loving the old men. Would love to see more naked chicks, because that's really important for world peace and such. Hands are sweet too! Keep it up!

algenpfleger- Thanky man yeah, supersweet nymphomanic chicks are comin, for sure!

really stunning work in here, 'specially that oil with the two in one face.

the last watercolor looks much better than puking and shitting all day. good job getting the solid geometric and weighted feel to the legs!

sorry for heavy handed pelvis shattering asspats galore, but i like what i'm seeing here

    cheers

you have some nice stuff going on. i'm very interested in your oil painting work. its a damn hard medium to master. well for me anyway. you seem to have a good grasp of how to utilise it no matter how crude your photos may be its some good stuff. oil paint can be damn frustrating with being a slow drying medium. great stuff. keep it up!
