oh sorry.. w8
can you see it?
éllo' ? Is it visible now?
um yeah and it screems "photoshop layers"the bloodveins looks more or less like worms or something, they are a bit too visible. although u made shadows (using burntool i guess. a big "no-no") it looks awfully flat! its fire in the bakground right? why doesnt it reflect any light on him? the light source is from behind but u made it come from the left 0_O im confused, dont take it too hard though im just critiqin...
hehe
Im not taking it hard, the reason i post here is to get the critique so i can improve my paintings. So the burntool is a no-no, better to use darker colors with low opacity then?
The background.. right.. i just made a background, and it became a fire, maybe should change it to something else so the shadows fall from the right place.
it screems "photoshop layers", you said .. what shall i do to make it "melt" (wrong word?) together better?
Use fewer layers of course![]()
Yeah thats obvious, but it´s a great help using layers according to me.. If I use layers truh the process, should I at the end merge them all together and do the finishing touches on one single layer?
well anyways instead of just making the shadows black, try making a darker value of the color u use. not blacker just darker/strongerit should help, and its ok to use ur current background, but its too "photoshopic" ;D lol. try to really draw the fire not using smudge tool to imitate a fire. AND if u keep the background , try adding reflections. hejdå
