    Thanks Guys
Kir- The sofa one is messed up beyond all recognigtion, I may go at it again but I'm not sure. It looks like I may be getting a pro portfolio toghether again. My work is offering a nice redundancy package and I am really feeling the need to draw full time again. Thanks for the nice words. Really means a lot.

Bhanu- Cheers mate. Hope to get some real nice stuff up soon.

Some pretty nice stuff in here!

Do you use a lot of reference in your work? I'm not anyone to be bragging about this myself, but I'd like to see a bit more design in the thread. There's a lot of hot babes in here, but that's kinda leaning more towards comic work or whatever than concepting.

The painting of your father in law is really nice. And your missus seems like a pretty decent model - christ, the difficulty i've had convincing girlfriends to bloody sit still for an hour or two

    Nice stuff, keep it coming.

Thanks Dirty C. I know what you mean about design. Leaning towards that now. I used to be a comic artist ( self-published) and Power rangers, VR Troopers, all that uncredited license crap. I also spent 3 years in advertising doing photo mockups and packaging design. This drove me mad. I kinda fell into IT and the money was too good to turn down. ( mistake)

I have only just started using reference again. Most of my doodles are just mind splurts. Funny, I had started to get bored with concept work styles. A lot of generic samey compositions and the same old pallettes started to get me down. Hard to find fresh stuff. I noticed a lot of Photoshop brush tricks and it all looked a bit Bob Ross for me. However I can see the proffessional merits for this in a demanding deadline environment. Thanks again dude for the nice comments.

    Wink

Thanks all of you for your nice words. Some updates with Biro doodles while I was working in Liverpool. A view from my hotel, Green Aroow unmasked and in Roehampton ( Council Estate in london- I guess they are called projects in the states) I grew up in that place.
Also a midget robbing Cap A - the midget came first and I chusked Cap in for a filler. And the mighty Judge Dredd.
All rough sketches that may end up final.

    Thanks again. Enjoy!

Nice update, appreciate your loose style.
Is't funny that the masterchief appears in your sketches from time to time.
In my oppinion the masterchiefs' design is state of the art, I just love it.
    Often copied but never reached.
