Tweak the pressure settings, you should be able to get sweeping lines that taper, without making all those little scratchy lines. Right now it looks like scanned pencil work.

I dig the design, but have issues reading the hand on the sheath, I lose the thumb and wrists in the lines.

hi,
this concept looks great and the style is good ,too.
i have make a paint over to show you what i would change in this picture.

i think that the proportions are right, i just make the boots a little bigger.
the next is the blade and the "belt", he is not really straight.
IMO: the thing on his shoulder looks dented.
the hand looks wrong(i know, im not the best in drawing hands)
the breast muscle looks off.

may the head is a little too small....
