    Nice work Ive.

Hawk the Slayer is extremely inspirational, hence your great work on the quick paint of the castle at night. You've done a great job capturing the mood.

I'm also digging Lysorla and the brown toned giant worm at the bottom of post #19.

Great attitude in the mowhawk axe wielding punk as well.

    Keep drawin'

    Hello, I'm alive! (mwahahahahaha )

Sorry I haven't posted anything, I've been very busy last few months. And lazy, but don't tell anyone ^^.

I got my first job, as a comic colorist for a French house Delcourt. yay! They seem to like my works since they asked me if I'm available for another project too(or they're just short on colorists ) but I had to turn them down, college 'n stuff.
Anyway I'm doing the New Testament, the penciler is great so it's quite fun coloring his lines. The bad part is there's no inker, so I have pretty much work heh...
Thanks everyone for checking this thread and giving me support!

Here are some speeds I did in sparetime, nothing fancy. I hope I'll get a scanner soon so I can upload my sketchbook, until then digital stuff
    cheers

Jason Borne - Thx, glad you like it

Wasker - Yeah, the night before I painted that one, I was drooling over the Mullins' works so the influence is obvious ha?

Sunny - I heared that from lot of people, but currently I'm experimenting with everything, I can't stay in one place/technique all the time, it's just not me

Here's some emo stuff, a WIP for a smaller activity on another forum

I really want to see your pencils now. I'm starting to become a fan of your work myself. I like your color work alot. When i reach that step I'd like to color well too.

    Hey, long time no see.
I haven't been quite some time here on CA so I neglected this sketchbook a bit.
I hope to correct this injustice ( )with a lot of new stuff I've worked on in past few months^^

I posted some panels from the comic (I only did the colors, pencils by Dalibor Talajic), misc sketches and one watercolor quickie. While doing the city panorama I had in mind Ankh-Morpork from Terry Pratchett's Discworld series.
I should start to use rulers and compass as you can see I screwed the round symbol which is meant to represent four elements and fifth ether symbolized by the sun in the middle.

Sarcophagus: Glad you like it, but I never found time to finish it/ok I'm lying, I had time but I very rarely return to work on the image I haven't finished in few days time... /

NicoRaven: Wow man, it's quite an honour to be an example to someone. Well, to tell you the truth I actively paint only a year, and started seriously drawing a few years back. So I'm positive that the work pays off! And it's never too early to begin daubing with colors...

I'm back from the holidays, with some new stuff. I haven't used pencils some time, or drawn landscapes/cityscapes even longer, so time to catch up on that.
The lack of ruler is obvious

I tried using softer brushes in photoshop, and I liked it ^^
I ended up coloring the second girl, but after a while when I compared the sketch with the coloured version, I figured I like the B/W better. So I didn't finish it
Oh, and I added a coloured version of an old sketch, I was just experimenting with some palettes and textures...
