    Sketchpuke - updated december 10th

Well, it's about time I made a sketchbook. I'll be mainly posting digital art, since I don't have a scanner yet
There's some older art here (druids and halfling tutorial - did a few months ago)
pictures on the top are most recent.
Hope this halfling tut I made for a certain forum helps someone
    C&C are most welcome.
    cheers

The soldier painting looks great... good values, and the flowers are a nice touch.

thanks meats, thats my favourite too so far

ok, I worked quite a bit on this pirate but in the end I'm not so satifsfied cause I forgot to mirror the image to see if things look ok from different angle . So now when you flip the pic he looks retarded. Doh!
Oh well, it's a lesson for next time

Hey man nice stuff! In the last post, maybe she could use some more contrasts. I know it isn't finnished yet, but anyway hehe. Also I don't really get whats happening to her left hand. That Halfling Rogue is really neat!

I always wanted to do one of Brom's girls: Pale skin, black leather and yellow background... I even got idea how to develop this into more cliche. I think I'll add some chains, feathers, blood mybe? hmm....
That's it for this week, got an exam in friday so I'm off to study.

Mm that last pic is nice! The pose is really cool, maybe her nose is placed a bit to high in her face.

Nice, dude! I'm digging the girl with the hat and the brom girl. I think the style suits you better. I appreciate the stylistic choice you made with the pirate, but it looks messy to me in the end. That's personal pref though!

Keep up the good work, I'd like to see more of your character designs.

thx sarcophagus, I was starting to wonder why she reminds mie of michael jackson I hope it looks better now.
Mechp: Yeah, that's what suits me best, but i got tired of the style so I tried a bit experimenting. Figured out I should do more speeds.
Anycow here's the update, hope ya dig:

Well, last month and half was busy, I was studying for exams, and I borrowed the tablet to a friend. :/ I concentrated more on traditional stuff like inks and pencils, so I can't say I missed it...
Here's little update with a few speeds, and one for the weekly over at Eatpoo-coloring Gezfry's lines.
Hopefully I'll post some pencils as soon as I scan them.

    hi.
    rorke, Cold: thanks!

Finally I managed to scan some lines! weeee 8)
Yeah, my anatomy sucks I know. I really enjoyed inking the girl by the waterfall and putting the details in. So relaxing and fun at the same time...

    I agree.

I know you enjoyed inking the water-girl, but out of personal preference, I love the soldier most with the gas-mask, its the sharp pencil strokes that make it sexy for me, purrr.

Hey man! The new version ot the girl is for sure an improvement. I like how she is... few-colored you know. And your pencils are coming along well too. You drawings are the kind of drawings that makes me want to buy a tablet.

Sarcophagus: yeah man, I know what you mean, I've been drooling on others' works for a past few years and cursing myself for not having a tablet. Then I got some cash and bought the cheapest one. I'm pretty satisfied now...
    Here's a quick sketch for a daily sketchbook, a butterfly/oracle/human thingie
I'll post some more work as soon as I organize and finish them.

Just a quick two hour sketch before sleep. Watched "Hawk the Slayer" a trash sword and sorcery movie and was inspired to do this...oh and the movie kicks ass
