The hilt of the sword has incorrect perspective, creating a a haft that has no depth and looks otherwise flat.

The above images are well done, and the hand fine as well, its just that one small matter that popped out to me immediately.

ehehe nice to see you Kline in my SB
Yes, good observation, the last hand is terribly out of perspective. I did this scribble at 6.00 am and I think that my eyes were intercrosses like the sword with the hand ehehehe. Thanks a lot for your comment mate

hi dreamworker! great improvement since my last visit! your digis are really good, I like the last airplanes, especially the brown/green one. the hands and foot studies are great too! Some sketches looks a little flat though, maybe try drawing with more values. Looking great, keep on drawing!

Nice updates, mate! I like your lines very much - very clean and beautiful, maybe a little hard sometimes, but look cool anyway. Especially I like that hands/feet piece - great job! Airplanes are look good too, like the last one - nice colours. Keep up the good work, mate and thanx for support!

nice sketches and studies try working with more values, build them up slowly to give the sketches more depth.

great studies man, the old man face is really good, also the horse studies, but not just focus on the outline, work the volumes and planes.
keep up the hard work, the improvement is there.
    Cheers

    Good going Dreamworker.

The Hand and leg studies on top of this page are really good.
The cg Airplane got a real good rugged look to it. Raw and deadly. Cool.

Gotta admit with OldNoobie, the last Skethc coulda use more values.

Yes the marker effect is a good one. But now I see something I didn´t notice in the sketch.
The light is coming right from in front or slightly to the left of him. Yet the hair is totally
unaffected by it. And it looks a bit like a cut out. Too sharp edges. But a really nice looking
piece it is. Maybe some more work on it in Photoshop?

    cheers man!
    I dig this one a lot: http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...1&d=1165414373
try puching the highlights a bit more though. oh and the shadow under the plane is straight as a hill billy (*cough*), you need to shape the shades after the formation of the background in order to make it pop and the BG to gain depth.
The portrait looks really good, but I agree with Gnoll on the skin tone.

keep it up, you doing really good!

hey there! cool updates, really like the hand studies and your old knight.
the digital is a promising start - i agree on the skin tones. to me, the eyes in general, but especially the pupils look a bit too big. but i guess you were going for the big eyes... but i really like the expression you get in the painting. take care! stine

Hi friends, Thanks for your visit. Thanks a lot for critics :
-yes the hair are poor, I have some problem to obtain a decent volume effect with a speddy paint ( any suggestion is welcome, also with overpaint for exemple ). I see that I have fear to put more values for shadow and light, also in my drawings, but I hope to correct this problem with more exercises.
-Tigermilk you are right with the airplane eheheh . I hope to create some decent veichles in future with more attention.
-the eyes in general are too big I know, but I try this expedient to put little lively ( perhaps I think that I exaggerated in this attempt ).
    Ciao

That portrait is really good! Like the way you figured out facial planes - great hatching! Nice color work as well, I never worked with colour so I can`t give you constructive crits on this piece, but I like that painting, bro! And thanx much for your vote and constant support! Keep going!
