I really love your stuff. : )

One thing that I would work on is trying to really understand what you're trying to say with the picture.

the guy holding the sword seems just like a guy holding a sword. Why is he holding the sword? Does he like what he's holding the sword to? Is there a reason why his stance doesn't seem as tense and hurried as anyone else? Things to really ask yourself when you're drawing. I mean, technicality is great, but I think being expressive as well as having really good basis in realism and all that jazz is especially important. : )

Keep up the undead studies dream :1 I would recommend whiting out the eyes, always makes them way scarier... Say like this:

or just pure white. Keep messing with the undead stuff, always fun.

hehee nice to see some more lines flowin'...
personally i find these undeads a bit too "cute" for my taste, but the rendering is nice.
Make sure you try out different hair options, and try n look for some ref.Might be quite disgusting for this particular subject, but i'm sure it could help

keep sharing!

Hey Dream,
Im finding the colours in the working painting a bit generic and cliche, although the oringnial sketch is good. Go back to those colour experiements you did a while back....I think the sepia works best in all the variations and developments.
But keep it up, don't stop the artistic process

hey there!
cool updates, like the undead, good rendering and i like the fact that you chose not to stay with the frontal portraits but have some 3/4 views in there, too. looking forward to see the final design. good work! cheers

Cow

hey man,

haven't been here in some time. Loving the faces of your characters, as well as their clothing. Nice earthy tones on the elf, but i would seriously lengthen his sword. That weapon looks a bit too long too be a knife, and a bit too short to be sword. If it's a short sword, which is a stabbing weapon, most of the time it would be utilized in conjunction with a shield, just like your ancestors in Italy, the Roman legions. A real sword seems to fit this character much better. Just my two cents. Nice work man, keep it up.

Hi Dreamworker, lookin good here. I enjoy watching you start from the sketch phaze and take a piece all the way to color. It something that I am just starting to do. The zombie stuff at the end is really cool. I like how the first couple look like they have bites out of their nozes!

re

Nice to see you pumping thoses zombie heads out. You can almost smell the rotting flesh. I like the coloring the elf. My one suggestion for the golden like armor is to add different shades of color. Metal tends to pick up some color variation around it's surrounding. Keep posting.

Great updates with the zombies, the last set is definitely the most convincing, no eyes, mostly bald, emaciated features...Right on dude. You could also experiment with zombies missing features, without a jaw, with part of their head missing, crap like that :3 Rendering is looking good, seeing improvement in the last few updates. Keep it up man.

the progres of the swordsman is pretty neat! looks good , i am not a colour expert but i find it myself confusing painting on a white background.

haha damn nice Zombies , like Gnoll said , it´s gettin eeevviiill in here . i like that , show us pigs who rape zombies or was it reverse??? ( ups my mind gettin twisted) i´ll better come back when i have something more usefull..

try making the lines loose as possible and the rendering very patient . keep it up mate! and don´t let the votes bring you down !

lookin good so far man.Your style is pretty old school for my taste, and i second what goblinshark says.Go wild with lines, make 'em flow, and slow down with the rendering.CHeck out some reference for the clothes, and add some tearing and dirty stuff.Make him look dead

keep sharing, and catch ya on msn
