    Hand Studies

    2 Hands, I just got a new scaner and decided to test it out.

    Hey Morgan L,

    Your hand studies aren't bad, the overall shape is pretty good actually, although the thumb on the upper left sketch is a little off I think. Where they both fall short is in the shading. They both look more or less like silhouettes because of the lack of depth the rendering gives them. I'd like to see more plain outlines before the shading gets done.

    Thanks for the comments!

    I agree with what your saying, I never noticed the thumb until you pointed it out and shading isn't really strong point of mine, so that would be a good area to focus on. Always good to get constructive, honest criticism, thank you!
