Here's something I did real quick for this weeks Nightmare of the Week activity.

"Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, tonight you will see things that no man was meant to see. Creatures that shouldn't be! A disaster of unnatural proportions in the progression of human evolution!! Prepare yourselves! And do run, for if you do it will surely provoke this creatures most primal instincts to give chase...feast your eyes on the amazing grotesqueries of the unknown! Born half man and half cat! BEHOLD!! The Cat-Man!!"

Born Edwin Delacroix, October 17th 1887, in Wierton, West Virgina. Lizabell Stuben and Philip Delacroix's youngest child of 19 children was born with a rare unknown dis figuration that some say gave him the odd resemblance of a cat.

At 17, Edwin was asked by P. William Burgunsey to be a part of his Red Stripe Carnival Productions. Edwin received an $8,000 dollar sign on bonus upon his acceptance to be the star attraction in "Dr. Var E. Gross's Freakish Delights"
showcase at the RSCP. Billed as The Cat-Man, half man, half cat. Edwin became a celebrity over night. Burgunsey traveled across most of the Eastern seaboard with Edwin as well as across the Midwest and Deep South and every show was sold out with spectacular earnings and raving critics and audiences alike. At the peak of Edwin's success, at age 34 he died in his sleep due to respiratory complications.

Nyx702- Thanks man! It was a quick piece so I jumped right in and skipped the value study phase. I see what you mean about the denim. I guess in my mind it wasn't a focal so I skimped out on some detail there.

Speaking of process shots here is the process to NOW#4

I started off with a quick ballpoint pen doodle on copy paper and scanned it in and went from there. It was all done with a hard round brush in photoshop with 100% opacity and 100% flow. No magic.
