oh boy, for a second there i thought his penis was a chainsaw...

Great piece. The drawing overall is great, just wish you concentrated more on the head (the mouth is great, but im sure you could have given the character a more "demonic" approach if you recreated everything above that lol. Very neat though, reminds me of something from the book "Dante's Inferno".

    It's not?

This thing is huge. I had to go down to 50%, and I could still only see most of it. Anyway, this has got some fine detail work like the wraps around the chainsaw handle and the bone pauldrons, and overall I do like it. My two crits are that the big creature doesn't really seem to carry any depth and that everything seems to blend together, with no real obvious focus. But perhaps that's what you were going for.

16 years. Take us back, man...I wish this opened with a story about what you were doing at the time, what bands you were listening to, and what would prompt such a villainous creation...

I agree with StealthNachos. While this is sheer eye candy, composition-wise my eyes want to go everywhere...everywhere...If that's your intention, then you did an amazing job, because there are little details to find in every wrinkle and ripple of this piece. However, there's not a central element that pulls it in for me. Perhaps I need to see this thing in its entirety and not scroll around the screen to take it in.

I am curious, though: why is the gentleman in the foreground barefoot? In a room with that many pointy, pokey, certainly non-hygienic things to snag one's less-than-protected parts on, why would he be barefoot? I'm not especially bothered by it, but I did find it a peculiar element of the character.

Love the little demon-esque creatures in the cage, the cloth wrapping on the chainsaw handle, and the pillars...

It reminds me alot (and comes from somewhat the right time) of roleplaying game art from the 1980s, especially early D&D illustrations. They were never technically brilliant - in that sense, yours is much better - but I'll always love that style.
