i agree w/ doug, but the whole thing is too even right now. the face and robe are not only very similar in color, but their textural density is identical making the whole thing feel too even. maybe the robe he is wearing could be smooth and silky or he could be shiny like a frog- but both elements look like a potato sack texture and it flattens your image out.

its very cool tho- i wouldnt bother with small crits if it wasnt nice work.

Nice. The only thing I would do is seperate the clothing color from the skin tone. They are a bit too similar. Killer!

Nice. XD I remember chuckling a bit when I first saw this on deviantART.

As already stated, great work with creating a believable character via color and texture. Personally, I think the similarity between his face and clothing isn't a big problem. It makes for a neat stylistic effect.
