I got these plastic raster thingies from my moms office the other day. They are dots on thin sticky plastic that ya can attach to paper, like in comics only this is non-computer-y done. They used it at her architect office some 10, 15 years ago... So this is a result of me trying 'em out: (It is called "The beatch sucks")

Holy fuck that is so beautiful with them two-tones! I have searched internet for tutorials to do that with the computer but I can't find any good ones (thought maybe I can have 'em in my comic). I hope you have checked out Nicolas sketchbook! His two-tones are awesome. Dig the hands on your dude!°

Sarco - Yeah, its fruhggin' great to have those, eventhough they're almost used up. My beloved mother told me that she knew this store in Malmö where they probably have these dot-sheets, so I'm gonna visit that store hopefully soon. They have alot of drawing, painting stuff and then stuff such as them raster plasters. I reckon ya could download something to make dots to photoshop. You have asked this Nicolas right? The store isnt called Dreweks is it? And "this Nicolas"??? I'm talking about Nicolas Klein! Anyways I think I'll head in to Dreweks some day and check if they got some, have heard its the best store in Sweden!

Sarcophagus - I actually dont think they're called Dreweks. I think it was two of the same names... kinda like "Jönsson & Jönsson" or sumthing like that... Maybe they have recently changed their name? Dunno.

Heh, thanks, and yes indeed I guess we are both big fans.

Heres a little update. Sumthin I cooked up late last night. Used a little ref from my hand, otherwize none. Probably should have, the clothes look like dough. Kindove lighting n weight practise.

Heres an inky inky of Marv. Not done, its on standstill. More outlineing on him will do alot, n I planned on coloring him comic-like but who knows. Im not in the mood to follow thisone up right now.

Its real nice to hear that you like the stuff, I still feel like I have 99,9% left to learn, my composition for example is somthin thatI feel I could improve fast an alot. Hey ya really think I have my own style? 'Cuz thats exactly the kind of thing that keeps me awake at night. I feel that I just steal n stuff, that I dont have any of my own-ness in my stuff... A little bit o updatin'. First up are some minor sketches. May be even more nonserious then usual.... dunno if thats a good or a bad thing. But I thought "why not post 'em" I mean it IS a sketchbook. You are supposed to post things you draw. this is what I have drawn. This is what I post.

N here is a contribution to the armageddon-ragnarök-like "Scandinavia vs UK" thunderdome. Not dunn with it by far, but I guess its safe to post it now seing how its the last day to work. great update. the lighting is good , tight. Background is suiting the pic.Maye the lighting on the tongue could be tweakeda bit .

All right Pidde goes texture-background! Sweet! Did you scan the stuff yourself? The only thing that dont looks really finnished is his right hand and some of the things surrounding it, the shadows on the monsters (hotties?) legs f.ex. And yeah the dark kvadrats! You know.... squares. They are cool I mean, not not-finnished.
