I suggest keeping the hair consistent for the character. This can be a big issue for animators who have to make hundreds of drawings of a character on model. How many edges on the hair 3? 4? If you check characters like the simpsons, the number is fixed for every shot.

there's not really much to him. Im taking cues from softocean that this is for animation? Looks like you went for a really basic style just to make it less of a chore for the animation process. Even something like a t-shirt design or some added gear would spice it up.
