Nice to see some old work, youve really come a long way since. How long ago did you make these? Seems like ages ago since the first suffering game.

im in love with this thread....so much great work...very inspiring man...awesome
Awesome pics, I gotta get that game now..
Scorpion, cagehead and blind barber are me faves... Plus the one with the wheels. Great great work!
Amazing work man, really love your style. Even though the monsters are all deformed, the anatomy of them looks like most would work, again, great work.
Im really not a fan of the horror genre but this is what I love to see in concept art - a real focus on fresh ideas and design statements - very proffessional work Ben - all the designs relate well to one another.

It's great to see these on here. I really enjoyed playing the first Suffering game. I still have my copy of it somewhere at home. I always thought the creature designs were amazing looking. Those dudes that scuttled about with blades for arms and legs were nasty mofos, and the guys with syringes stuck all over them. I loved the concept that they all had elements in their design from how they were killed/executed. Ahh makes me wanna play it again!!
