Thanks for stopping at my sketchbook and for the 5 bones, I'm honored, specially coming from you, you are the master of bones and anatomy, it's not my area at all, but I am going to get in there soon, I can't believe how nice your sketches are and how much information you are sharing, really great studies, it reminds me alot of DaVinci's work and style.

    Thanks for sharing.

Mentler what you are doing is great! Helping people with there anatomy problems. I have enormous respect for you and your art!

I'm learning much from your drawings, I'm now studying the arm wich is pretty complex with al the twisting. I'll update my sketchbook soon with some arm studies.

    Damn,

to be honest I get headages from watching TV or PC-screen for to long. Although I realize your lessons are way awesome I feel numben and not concentrated enough to actually go through it all as thoroughly as I should, plus I haven't been in here for quite a while so I'm not sure if you were not going to come up with a DVD or Book, if so, that would be real awesome. Otherwise I'll have to get some of these pages printed for referrance material.
Am really enjoying your examples and methods, but sth. I was curious about would be how force from outside (from other figures / nature (gravity for example) ) affects the human body. Differance between passive and active bodyparts in certain movements. Force, energy and movement. If you could share some of your knowledge on these subject matters, that would be real awesome.
    Anywas, so long...

Lovely as always! Those heads in the last post are particularly nice. Everytime I come here I'm reminded of the decided lack of Mentler sudies in my SB.
And sorry to hear about your threads getting messed up, but at least you still have this one!

Also, I was just wondering how those books/lessons etc. were coming along? (if at all.)

Love the fleshy heads you did there. All the pages are incredibly illuminating but I have to say this one is one of the clearest, most readable pages I've seen from you. Perhaps just because of the different line.

Hey mentler I have been lurking through here for quiet sometime, but never posted. Pretty amazing this book that you have, really need to go through here and really study these. When going through the thread, I get a feeling I'm looking through a Da Vinci sketchbook for some reason. Crazy handwriting as well, very inspirational stuff. Keep on rocking.
