The last painting reminds me a bit of a Gustav Klimt painting some how. Fucking brilliant none the less. Keep it up!

Thumbs up Love the sketchbook and the airplanes

Those airplanes are so dynamic yet nostalgic - what are the chances of getting hold of a poster of one of them to hang on my wall? Do you make them on computer or a combination of handpainting and scanning?

Hi Luke, I'm one of the students sitting at the back when you're visiting AIE yesterday. I gotta say your work blown me away. Mark showed ur work at the begining of the semester, I was awed looking at your works on the projecter screen(its actaully pictures from this page: http://www.creepmachine.com/lukekoppa) and thought you were one of those high end artsy artist who was doing all sorts of metropolitan gallary shows and doesn't give a shit about digital media, but you turned out to be a super concept artist as well as a great tranditional artist.

when u just standing there infront of us I was kinda shocked cause I didn't expect it was you and I recognized your works instantly and I think we all did. I was kinda regret that I didn't go back and talk to you alone though, not an everyday chance for me to meet an artist in person whose work are truely thoroughly inspiring to me. Anyway just saying hi and you're awesome and I wish all the best to you.

Very nice lineart! Like the shadows and the morphing faces (different positions of one face in one picture).

I assume these works you are posting are "personal"...? I like it when an artist (especially around here) can detach themselves from the constant deluge of mechs, monsters and armoured characters and do something different/honest. I've been back through most of your sketchbook and I really like your work. I'll be in Melbourne in July; if I visit the Brood Box/McCulloch Gallery(?), will I be able to see some/any of your works?
