Eri, you sunovabitch, I love you. I certainly do love your sordonic sense of humor![]()
I think you should try playing around with different media... bust out the india ink and try sketching with a brush pen. There's also white india ink (you could mix with acrylic to tint with colour... great for skintones) and pencil crayons and charcoal. You've got a crazy little demon living in your brain - don't forget to feed him![]()
Also... "starvin in the belly of a whale"... Tom Waits much? MMmm.
As the pattern gets more intricate and subtle being swept along is no longer enough.

damn, that's some demented shit(most of all the oils) - i love it.
that one ink page at the beginning has however caught my interest most,i don't know why, guess it's the craftmanship. though, baal in oils also keeps me returning,he looks truly evil.
update more often!

wow... I can't believe I haven't seen this sb before! Great work... I love how loose some of these drawings are. And that creepy angry zombie deer tshirt design... love it. I'd totally wear that. To scare my sister. Yea.
Keep on keepin on. I'll be back to see more.![]()

if ever you want to collab........give a hollar matey! either that or when i move across the deep dark seas after i graduate i'll just sleep in your studio.
great stuff with this! raw energy to it all, smashing!
seems like you're really getting those demons out of your head....or as bunny mentioned, feeding themi think it would be a treat to see somemore ink and brush, you could really work some powerful lines with that stuff. i can send you over a bottle of fresh squid ink from here on the island...
yarr good stuff again!
oh and i forgot to say: love the textures on the last painting, the gritty canvas is a treat to see through the image![]()

that last one is sooo damn nice, thanks alot for sharing man.
You've created a mountanious region based on the gnarles, teeters, and squacks of horror macabre. (Those 3 words inserted for display purposes only) It's not bizarrosity study, it's more of the human outlook into dark themes. Some act as illuminants while others turn to the darker side of things in art form. "Pippa" is a beast with a storybook child's name. Pippa is a monstrous creature who truly awakens in the night. The red cloaked wanderer is my favorite of these - the color combination and position of the character already tell a tale.
Keep doing you

Wow man, awesome stuff. Great line confidence, great shapes, you're really nailing the Phil Hale kinda look. The pencils on the toned paper really are freakin stellar. And nice temperature control on this newest one.
Sick!
Hey man, i hope its all okay with you, i'm missing your updates!
The last piece is as nice as allways!

Pffff. absurd!
Im going home!!!
huge fan of your work. you're the reason i decided to start a sketch pad. those free form sketches a great. were those off references? and how do get those fantastic ink splatters and add paint to you sketches without distorting the paper?
