    WOO! PAGE 5! *happy dance*

    johngrello: !
bludhund: only two quibbles? c'mon! the more quibbles the better
chirp: thanks! I wish I could lay claim to the collabs...but I don't really feel like I own the intellectual property. I've learned a lot and thoroughly enjoyed them. I hope to do many more.
stark: I hope to continue improving

some doodles for today. did this rocketboard in sketcher [a collab with julianna and Stark put some shadows on teh butt]
then redrew the idea later, trying to make it more fluid. I seemed to have lost something in the process.

...and a 1hr IRC TD "undead mechanic"
I have been doing some painting in my lil sb again. I need to get my hands on a scanner :/

Hey, it's my first visit. Cool stuff, I have checked from page 5 to here and I can see the improvement. You didn't seem to feel the undead mecanic however... Nice pun...but he needs more love. I feel you have some poses many of your figures have, maybe try new positions?

    thanks qitsune
yeah, I tried a different working progress (tried to use lines more effectively), which isn't always good when there is only 1 hr time restriction.

I'll start working on getting figures in more interesting poses and angles. Sounds like it's time for more studies. I seem to have been getting lazy :<

Here's something I did in response to the boring figures, I hope it's heading in the right direction.
I'm not working on the computer as much...it seems that working a desk job at a bank all day + drawing and painting at night have started to take a toll on my arms. Makes me a bit nervous, but I think if I can get into a regular exercise routine, I'll be okay.

Hey tex, nice update. I like the orange Robot (04s.jpg), el mustashio & 02s.jpg. I think the orange robot could be carried further, maybe with some yellows / darkening the outlines, something along those lines. Keep it up

    alexc, thanks for dropping by

ya my lines still need work I tend to find that my lines are better when I make the right line the first time, instead of the wrong one 57 million times. I should just make the right line the first time....

some colors on something I found from a while ago.

@ that cutesey TD; should have said you were still going, I was well on my way with mine (a bunny-like creature that proclaimed he would never die) when everyone said they were done...

Anyways, everything's nice n chunky n painterly, and you think 90 seconds in pose maniacs is infuriating for you? I still couldn't do it... had to browse through their pose archives and do 'em at my leisure, stupid non-patience

dile: thanks man..I'll be posting some oil paintings that I've been working on soon...i need to find a non-ghetto camera.

rhineville: aw dude, I wish I had known you were still going too! [i probably would have put more effort into it ...ok probably not, but still]

and yeah, 90 seconds is still hard. It's way easier when it's pen/pencil and paper, I just have really poor control on the wacom. Could just be that I'm too used to slow drawing as well. I think it's because I'm on a 20 inch monitor and a 4.38x8 inch (6x8 constrained) wacom ._. [haha fuck yeah blame the tools, not the user]

here's 50 more, and uhm...I'll get the the value study later. for the spartan training camp. all reffed from posemaniac.

    :o

soo... long weekend with driving long distances and very busy busy.

here's some [kinda not so good] photos of some oil paintings I'm working on. I need to get some lamps, all I have is this one flourescent light in my basement

I have pretty much no idea what I'm doing, but learning heaps in the process--and I've got some books to read.
