    Yet another tablet question...

So I finally got a tablet, but I have one q...At my house there is only one comp (we're kind've poor), and my mom doesn't like to use the pen or the mouse that comes with the tablet, she says it's not fast enough or something along those lines...sooo is it okay to take out the tablet anytime you want? Is there a way to turn off the tablet??? Thanks in advance

As it's USB and has no own power-supply nor data storage, pulling the plug should be no problem. Putting it in again isn't, either.

You can speed up the mouse in the wacom tablet properties. I just started using mine, the back and forward button mae it worth it. Plus the scrolling wheel is better than my old mouse. Although if you value it at all, I wouldn't leave it out for the rest of the family to destroy.

Just set it aside when you're not drawing and use the regular computer mouse (just make certain the stylus isn't laying with it's nub over the draw area, or your mouse won't move the curser). There's no need to unplug it.

if it's a USB mouse you can plug it in every USB port you want
many mice (mostly cheaper or older one) work with a PS2 port (for mouse only)

Yeah you can plug it anywhere in the "tower" that has a usb port. just dont plug it into the low powered ones..(keyboards) that have a usb port.

also..take good care of your pen. if you loose the pen its like $75US to get a new one.. last i remebred

just take good care of it..cause its a good investment :3
