Hey, Chiko,
Good to see your HUGE progress! It makes me wish I had kept up the SBing,
The last one has a particular professional touch to it, nice!

That last WIP looks great. I can't wait to see it finished.
Haven't had much time for drawing in the past few weeks and it sucks. Only did these two pieces which aren't very good.
Went to a life drawing session the other night and finally got some more practice, I'll post those later when I feel like scanning them in.
The Okami piece is great, mate!
I´d like to see more texture on not just the background.
The characters does not fit that well in the scene.
I think it would work better without texture at all, or more of it.![]()
Work has been kicking my butt again, I wish I didn't need money to survive, and that I had more time to draw. For now All I have is a really messy sketch for a Raiden piece I wanted to do.
Trying really hard to get muscles right, and trying to challenge myself with male anatomy.

I've been so buys trying to keep my head above water and uh..*cough* playing video games (I can't help it! Metal Gear!)
So here's a small update. Going to try and post more sketches soon. Been doing al9ot of fanart in prep for an upcoming convention, but I'm fitting in my original stuff. Messing around with some stuff for DEEP that didn't really go anywhere. I did want to participate, but I got too wrapped up in things *sigh*
Avatar and finished Raiden. I know there are 20974839701971290 shading errors in both of these. Time for some shading exercises.
Wuooah - woof woof. That´s great progress. Really cool, I don´t know the new MG4 but I very much like the pose and the armor design of Raiden(? i think) and the rest of the stuff is very cool 2. Keep it up - and the head above the water. Work can kill u - but untill then it´ll keep ya alive. IT´s a sad world.
cu ´round![]()

Big art dump today. Some new designs for game project I'm working on and some sketches from the last month's worth of life drawing sessions. I really wish I could say more, but I'm dead tired from this past weekend.
Good thing is, I feel pumped and incredibly inspired and I can't wait till I get a break from all this work I can to have it all come rushing out.
Some more practices, painting and traditional markers. An environment WIP. Could use some tweaking in the lighting. I need work in making my light source more clear.
Just an update of the last environment I did. I need to do some more anatomy studies.
by far one of you better paintings is the cowgirl.....or maybe i just dig women who sport firearms and bullets
thanks for droppin by my thread broddy
keep up the good work
Some things I've been working on in the past month. I can't seem to find my moleskin, so I can't upload random sketches from out and around yet.
I drew a Bith.
I've been trying to practice hands and legs, and all around everything on the human form I draw wrong. Also the girl and falcon are more character sketches for a project I'm working on. They're my characters![]()
I've been really inspired by the new Prince of Persia game's style. It's rough a messy, but has really nice form. I was trying my hand at painting that way. Don't know how successful I am. I could really use some crits.
Also drew this, been trying to figure out if it's worth taking any further. I kind of like the composition, but I think I need to move away from my habit of drawing everything so centered and cramped.
wooo some good solid wwork here! You need to focus more on studies, clean and focused studies, so that you get those fundamentals nailed to the wall

"She turned me into a newt!" Yay Monty Python!
You have some fantastic drawings here. The warm colours of the Avatar fan art had me especially drawn in.Try experimenting with altering hues with your shading, using purples and greens etc. A lot of shaded areas in real life have more of a blueish hue to them sometimes (depending on the time of day, weather, location etc of course).
Just experiment with that, and keep up the good work!
Been neglecting my arts far too much as of late. I vow to start drawing daily, and post my work here as much as possible, but no less than 3 times a week.
Here's some recent coloring projects, sketches, and studies.
Heya Chiko
Nice to see you´re still alive and kicking. Three times a week updates? That´ll be great. The studies are looking good. I can even guess that the vulptuos woman had a c-section at least once in her life. And HEY!! It´s that fat kid from McDonaldsQuote: r ya gonna eat that?
The zero-G worker looks great. The pose is consistent and I like how you style those characters. How about finishing one of those sketches? Seeing things thru to the end is a good exercise too.
Keep it up, luv and don´t forget: Arrrrrr!!!
Savy? *just fooling ´round*

More practice sketches.
Tried to make myself draw some larger men. It's very difficult for me to draw men, let alone those with such a lack of definition
Did some Labyrinth drawings, just trying to pull form. I have alot of trouble adding age to things, my people always end up looking far too young :/
A color study I messed around with. I practiced with Painter's Acrylics for the first time. Usually I just use watercolors and oils. I feel like I've learned something new tonight, if only marginally.
looking good. your characters are always so expressive.
Been away for a few months. Had a rather large move across the country from Orlando to Chicago, but I'm much happier in the city. Looking forward to actually having life drawing sessions to attend. I think my improvement will be much better than it has in the past 2 years. Art dump for this year so far, I think I rely on photoshop just a bit too much.
MOAR Dump:
Some sketches for a small game company, so other random pieces I've been messing with. I've also got a separate Motoko piece I posted on the site. But I put it in the crit center because I need major help withe the pose.
Some pit fanart I've been working on. I really want to get back to doing studies but got to pay those bills first ERG.

DUDE! Where have you been......? haha
This latest stuff is looking great. It definately looks like you leveled up your skills quite a bit since the last few posts. I also really enjoy seeing your main reoccuring character. She shows the evolution of your style.
I'm loving this. especially the colors in her face:

haah Thanks for hanging around my SB for so long Factor Z, I've been busy with bills, life, and moving cross country. You know the usual.
Here are some studies from this morning. Quick poses and anatomy sketches.
A Motoko piece I've been working on to push my dynamic poses and practice foreshortening. I also put it in the WIP forum.
Hey man nice work. I just browsed through the first few pages then skipped to the last one. Great improvement! I guess you were right about the whole sketchbook thing. Ill may have to start one of these soon maybe I'll improve quicker hahaha. Great work, keep it up.
I love your stuff, and I can't wait to see what you came up with next, with you improvement and all!!
Critiques on my work always welcome!!

A truly horrendous self portrait that actually looks nothing like me. I'm still posting because I'm going to try and get into the habit of doing something daily.
Also more work on this Motoko piece I could use help with. And some other messy work I was messing around with the other night.
