The first three pages of The Legendary Sisters of the Laughing Doggebi (regular updates start 12/31. Bookmark the RSS feed today) open on a torrential downpour in the northern mountains of Joseon. As a result I need to find the style by which I'll be rendering that rain. Here are five variations on possible techniques.
