Thing 27 of 100: Josiah Hears the Law
Thing 27 of 100: Josiah Hears the Law
Thing 29: Babylon Sacks Jerusalem
I had such high hopes for this one. But I failed completely to get it on paper... due in large part to the fact that I had just begun taking diabetes medication and I couldn't focus on anything closer to my face than three feet...
Thing 30: Jerusalem rebuilt
Perspective on this was first rendered in lightwave and then carbon transferred to paper for the over-line work.
Thing 31: Ezra Reads the Law
Thing 32: Isaiah's vision - Unto us a child...
Another disaster. Such potential. Such fail.
Thing 33: Isaiah's vision - The suffering servant
I nominate this as the most metal Jesus ever.
Thing 34: Isaiah's vision - The Train of His Robe...
Things 35 - 40...
Daniel: Faithful in Babylon
Daniel: The Lion's Den
Psalms: The Righteous and the Wicked
Psalms: The Shepherd
Psalms: Waiting Patiently on the Lord
Psalms: David the Psalmist.

Character concepts for a short comic idea.
I like that lil' Musa Character!
More "5 Sisters of the Dokebi" sketches. Those of you who were following my 6 musa thread... this is what happened to it. So here Is v 2.0 of "The Saint".
The Saint 2.0
Since I suck at portraits I find I get a realistic but unrecognizable face if I use celebrity photos as reference. I might make a game of it later and do a commission for the person who can figure out the celebrity used for each character.
The KingPin and The Law...
Continuing with my reimaging of The Legend of the Five Sisters of The Laughing Dokebi... here's the blade-mistress v 2.0.
Here are the rest of the legendary sisters...
Trickster v2.0 (really hate the final result)
Woodcutter's Wife v2.0 (goth lipstick killed this... I liked it until I blacked in the lips)
Albino v2.0
And here's what they all look like together now.
Every good story has a great villain...
Full body concept for The Saint.
Some more Musa sketches.
Wow dude. I've been away too long. great stuff. The biblical scenes are particularly well composed. Peace.
Thanks for saying something Jason. I was beginning to wonder if anyone was still paying attention. It's been all Dubu all the time comment wise for a while now!
Face detail of "The Law"...
Update of "The Trickester"
Update of "Axeman's Wife"
Updated banner.
Very nice character concepts here, keep it up!
I like what I see.Very nice style. It'd be cool to see some more color stuff

Really like the way you handle light & dark. Some really cool contrasts you create there, and interesting concepts overall.
Thanks for checking out my SB, dude. Its always nice to have more experienced artists like yourself around. Thank you![]()
I'd like to see you black out the cool shadow shapes you are making instead of putting a gray in there. The angular shapes are really nice and they'd hold up well. maybe mess around with that a little.

I like your pencil work a lot, I think if you practice some coloring techniques for rendering those in digital format you could make some pretty sweet concept characters.
Emil - Thanks! I will... hopefully! It's always nice to have someone watching. Inspires me to work.
tobbA - Most of the concepts I'm working on right now are for B&W comics. I might do color concepts of the sisters... since most of them have colored hairstyles and it'd be nice to see the full punk effect.
krel - Well I'm not that experiencedI've only been published once. (well if you don't count band flyers).
Newbs - I've been meaning with playing with black and reintroducing splatter. But I've been stearing away from flat black... because my work looks so flat when I black it in.
Wgrace - Thanks. That's another vote for a color series!
Today's Update: Full body visualization of "The Law", The Laughing Doggebi Mask, Updated The Albino in the sister's banner. I forgot to correct the spelling of Doggebi though... oh well next time.
Woops forgot the fullsize of the updated The Albino...
Now with corrected title and experimenting with font... also color corrected (I did the first version on my laptop screen)
Really nice work, all of it. I love every single version and image of The Trickster youve posted. The Boss/Kingpin is great too. All types of attitude in these characters. Keep up the good work.
Thanks Jason... I'll eventually find her. She's tough. She has to be equal parts sass, feminine and tomboy. She's the group's "faceman". And she's got to be able to pass herself off as a boy in some plot-lines... that's a tall order to nail visually.
Full body sketches of The Bodyguard.

Well I finally captured the essence of what Lawman Yoo Jin Won is supposed to look like. I'm strangely satisfied for once!
super cool.
i love five sisters![]()
Thanks witek. I've got more "sisters" coming up soon... I'm doing head turns right now and it's painfully slow work.
