a VERY undercolored version of the first draft for my character of the week, i decided to enter. its about a woman from the french revolution tho, so i dont know if ill go back and color it, or ill leave it this way. at this point, the background, and the ground plane are painted over, to preserve the feeling of the old polaroid, (obviously an anachronism since i dont think cameras were around in the year the french revolution was

NICE dude - better than mine - I'm TERRIBLE at environments (and digital painting, I figure I just need practice)

minor crits - this looks like a street. If you look down the street, you rarely ever see the horizon line. Usually a building blocks your view before you see a horizon, unless you're looking uphill or something. Toss in a building where your vanishing point is; close it up some. get rid of the horizon line actually in there. I don't know whether you meant to ink it in or not, but you really don't need to.

that being said - AWESOME drawing - I'll get on some of that myself soon.

I love it marco. Looked at it for awhile to crit but not much came around. U'd better post the color. one thing. i think u lost ur value too quickly. unless ur going for that over exposure feel. its goes white then to 50% and then to black. if u wanna add some atmosphere.... a really powerful tool in enviro's use the 20 or 30 for the farther away stuff. add some bounced light off the right wall to the left side thats doused in shadow. that will add some dynamics. but like i said take my crits lightly. they are more like ideas. not that the drawing is bad... im just curious where u were going with that white panel on the far right. its pulls my eye away. either way keep showing off ur sweet art.

a few character sketches for a project im workin on. i think i MAY have a gig illustrating the cover of a book, (provided the guy decides to pay the proper price, lol). but of course, the actual illustrated cover wont be in this style, itll be painted, full render.

Hey buddy. That Emberillius concept is nice. I love the costume design. The only thing that I see that may need work is from the ribs to the crotch look out of perspective.
