This stuff is ACE. I only have a nitpicky crit for you. I'd like to see more color in each piece. They are all just images in different value of 1 color.

But this is all great, in my opinion. That one with the kngiht and girl on horses feel very desolate, and sorrowful. Great atmosphere, man

the first one is amazing. big fan of your work.
I think the head in the first character should be more accented, that would be my only crit.
Anyways, it's a pleasure to see such skillS.

great images, I like much the the intensity and power showing in Ice heavy cavalry.

my only little crit is for the first one: there's something strange in the two horses size, but I cannot figure out what's wrong. I have several horses reference and it looks like they have very long legs compared to the bust, especially on the second one...

Interesting pieces, there is too much shinyness in the first one, and the face needs to be lighter,it gets lost in all the brightness. The rest look pretty good, interesting style you have.

Wow, really nice job especially on the metals. I agree with Azza that the horses' legs are too long in comparison to their body. They might be a little skinny too - seems like when I sit on one my legs are further apart than that guy's. I love that ice king pic. Great work!

I love the brushwork, strokes, colors and compositions. These are really good pieces. But my one crit is that they lack focus. Or a focal point I should say. It'd be nice to see brighter lighting on the main subject in each piece. If not brighter lighting, then possibly additional color in the main subject to make them stand out just a bit. In "Ice Heavy Cavalry", I find myself constantly drawn to the horse's head because it is the closest and biggest element, yet I feel like the focal point should be the soldier on the horse. Same thing for "Alfar", I find myself looking back at the sword too often because it commands too much attention away from the action of the piece, which is the whisper. Other than missing a focal point, these pieces are great. I just love how gritty they feel. They really have great atmosphere.

Gorgeous as hell. The development and detailing on these characters is superb, and I'm lovin' your broodish shadows and atmospheres.

This is some mighty impressive work with a lot of power and life to it... much to love all around.

wow. This is amazing. YOur lighting and value are very impressive. If you can do it with monocrom, coloring is probably a piece of cake for you.

i think that's the point, really. the first pic tell a whole story there. the things that you criticize are really what make a whole story behind the piece. the "unusual" shininess of the armour emphasize how important chivalry is to the knight (armour is the icon of knights), suggesting that he is a man of integrity and honor, someone who doesn't let feeling to intercept with his job.

the character of the knight effects the relatioship between him and the female. judging by the distance between him and the female and his grim face (lack of light on his face),he looks like he isn't much of a talkative person to the girl; he's a person that uphold his virtue and he is there to do his job.

so the so call "mistakes" in your opinion is actually the strong points that make this piece great.... in my opinion, of course.
