    Hmm.

I've always had trouble with machines and anything non-organic.

What I am seeing here, is a Lard-Beast being fed by one of the trasher-vehicles of the BioMedical Waste Disposal Corporation (BMWD Corp), which is mainly financed by the Dr. Fahtmuhncher's Clinic for Happier Life with Less.

oh and also, nice topic. I'm missing some really good ones, but it's always fun to see what other people cook up

It may have amazingly earth like conditions, but with diseases rampaging through the population of low-lifes, the best way to get rid of all the bodies seems to be at the gaping jaw of one of the local king worms.

    Good ideas guys

This one wound me up so much. Maybe its because ive done 4 speedpaintings in a row im not sure, but man. Found myself redoing parts of this over and over, not sure how long i spent on him, must have been aroung 70 mins. Longer then i wanted and im not happy with the final result. Oh well, live and learn.

I don't often work in sci-fi... or color... or with my Wacom... but, I ain't gonna learn anything if I don't give it a shot now and again, I suppose.

Tablet in Paint Shop Pro 7 (because I'm too chicken to use PSP 8 ) with a couple plug-in effects for the ship, somewhere under an hour...

It was only after the colony was established on Vegara-6 that mining efforts unlocked the turbulent planet's secret beneath its mineral-rich surface. Colonists had already killed off most of the machinery-devouring, earthquake-causing "rock worms" by the time interplanetary conservation groups became involved. Still, the worms might have been doomed had it not been discovered that the planet's rich mineral deposits were in fact a byproduct of the worms, who could devour seemingly anything, from derelicts to radioactive waste to human bodies, and excrete purified, concentrated ores through their many bodily vents. With interplanetary business interests fuelling the conservation efforts, suddenly breeding rock worms became not only economically feasable, but downright profitable. The feedercraft pilots are among the most skilled and suicidal in the colonized galaxy, as it takes a quick hand and near-presentient reflexes to dump a load down the worm's gullet and leave before the monster's reflexes snap its great maw shut.
