BIRDS! well, mostly, but there's a lot of em!

All photos of non-captive/wild subjects except for the butterflies which were fluttering around in an enclosure. I'll go back through the post and add the species names in there later. For now, here are the pics..

    All photos Sony DSC-H1 w/ Sony VCL-DH1758 Tele-Conversion

wow, those are cool photos! when i remember looking through your sketchbook right, you draw a lot of those birds, don't you? i personally like the close-ups most, because the background isn't distracting from the birds portraits there.
my favourite is no. 11 (sorry, don't know all the bird's species in english...) from your first batch. lovely picture and a good composition i think - the diagonals of the branches really add well to the ones of the bird itself and the yellow is an eye catcher.

from your second post i like the photo of the roof most - i guess, it's my favourite from your pics over all. althought i would've probably cropped the left a little and maybe even the lower part of the house...
    great work! cheers,

    stine

I really like the second photo on the second post, it would make a great painting!
Would you mind if I used some of these for reference?

stine -Many thanks. Yep, that's me with the bird drawings/paintings in my sb. Thanks for writing!

entdroid - I appreciate it. And, yep, feel free to ref. I'd love to see what comes of it.

ivy'sgrandkid - The birds are all from Connecticut, where I live, and Florida, where I travelled. The butterfly park was in New Hampshire.

You could be a wildlife photographer.
Some of them have distracting backgrounds but for the most part they are very good. The colors are great and in many of them you capture the attitude of the bird well.
