concept:
An herbivore, the skittish "scrub-duster" forages arid grasslands, using its short trunk-like snout to unearth the roots of plants. Its blue fur serves as a camouflage against the evening and night skies and sparse vegetation. Its four fake eyes(to balance the three real ones) developed as decoys to its predators.

concept: Indigo Stalker
The Indigo Stalkers are a nasty little genetically-engineered replacement for the guard dog. Surprisingly light for their three-foot wide body, stubby legs are able to move them along flat surfaces faster than a man can run. Their three tentacles and hard sharp claws were originally added to the design as weapons, but the clever little fuzzballs, learned to use them are a secondary set of legs, allowing even faster movement- especially over rough terain and vertically via brachiation. The large triple eye set is sensitive to both infrared and ultraviolet spectra, giving them remarkable nightvision, even against active camouflage. While particularly vicious to intruders, they are remarkably affectionate towards their keepers, often cooing lovingly and rubbing against a keeper when scatched on the top of their "heads."

concept: Grocid Beruloth
These creatures favor polar regions. They are adept aquatic hunters, and can leap from the water to glide great distances to flee predators or hunt for prey.
While swimming, their third eye is directed downward to watch for predators (like Orcas) attacking from below
When gliding, it is directed upwards to watch the skies.
Their fine blue fur helps both to insulate them from the extreme temperatures,
and also to help them blend in with the blue-gray arctic water. As Beruloths age, their fur whitens, and the creatures migrate towards ever icier climates.
Both poles contain large beruloth graveyards.

concept: Great Trepoos Bat
What the Great Trepoos Bat [also MarOgn] looks like and what they are ? Three eyes and blue fur – was the most common characteristics of the creature among the rescued members of the Trepoos 4 expedition – one of the most barren and hostile planets of the Trepoos system. That is where the expedition was attacked by an unidentified creature. The only existing image as well as a vivid description we owe to dr. Martin Ogntoff which as one of the few took a better look at the monsters and wrote about the encounter in his journal:
„… today we heard these “screams” again […] high in the mountains […] hard to describe – sounded like eagles but with much more growling near the end […] everyone, feels stressed. Dogs are very nervous every time these creatures are getting closer. Yesterday two of them run away for no reason at all. We found one of them later torn apart like if it exploded […] tomorrow we’re continuing along the path we found today […] first the dogs went crazy, even though we didn’t hear a thing, some of them broke the ties and ran away. Then we’ve hard these flapping sounds – like wings. But not one or two – sounded like hundreds of them, than the “sand storm” started coming from the flapping noises direction (even though the weather forecast said nothing) […] visibility decreased to almost none […] then we saw the first one – huge wings […] hole on the forehead – like an eye, apparently they were seeing us in spite of the sand. Grabbed two of our men, taking them in huge claw-like legs, killed other three […] horror […] after the attack one of them landed just next to me and started eating one of the bodies […] it’s back was all covered with blue fur, long tail…”

concept: aoikami
Colonists have named them aoikami, they're very gentle and curious creatures. Theyr'e strict vegetarians and can often be found around colony plantations, where they get fed by the farmers, who see them as a lucky charm. Some believe they make telepathic contact through their third eye (they're the only species on the planet that have this trait), but there hasn't been much research. It's true that in the presence of a aoikami, some people get headaches and strange visions.

concept: Trocynian Lion Worm
The Trocynian Lion Worm lives in the orange sands of kualawhatickiti. During the mating season the females of the species grow a mane of coarse blue fur. small clusters of the fur is rooted in nerve clusters that make the females "receptive" when stimulated by the males. The fur is blue in colour so they stand out in sharp contrast to the landscape making them easy to find for their mate. The presence of three eyes is to help with the mating process as well. The Lion Worms reproductive organs are an exceptionally complicated organ that requires perfect timing and accuracy. Having three eyes placed in an equalateral triangle allows them to precisely locate the "organs" of their mate for precision copulation through triangulation. The three sets of teeth are to grab ahold of each other once connected. They have to hold on tight once all the fun begins.

concept: Pygmy Skurva
The Pygmy Skurva is a small burrowing mammal, known for it's extensive tunnel networks and it's piercing cries. Its diet primarily consists of insects, although it also feeds on plants from time to time. Inhabiting the rocky desert regions of the Yogunta Moon, it avoids its many natural predators with keen eyesight and warning cries from its neighbors. The Pygmy Skurva's bright blue mane and tail are used in communicating and in its well known, spastic mating rituals.

concept:
Poor Steve Burns from Nickelodeon's "Blue's Clues." He had a terrible nightmare last night. He dreamt that Satan impregnated Blue and she had a litter of these hideous, evil, six legged hellhounds with three eyes. They chased him all over the set of his show and tried hump his legs and bite him to death. They ripped off his trademark striped shirt and then he woke up in a cold sweat. That's what you get from working in children's television.

concept:
A biped that lives on a large moon with a thin atmosphere, this large creature has developed three eyes and bioluminescent fur to help it see in the low light levels, and is permanently stooped over so that it can always breathe. These unnamed creatures actually help produce more atmosphere, as their digestive waste ferments in the moon's large amounts of bacteria, producing the gases the larger animals need to survive.

concept: Florem Equine
This creature has a third eye capable of ultraviolet vision which helps it distinguish the most nutritious flowers from others, and aids in the pollination of its food source.

concept:
Their origin is shrouded in mistery. Nobody knows where they came from or how they evolved but let's face the facts: These creatures have become the biggest plaque and annoyment humanity has encountered since medieval pestilence rats.
Rumors are that they were developed by the cosmetic industry to animal-test their products (AKA: "Ow, that shampoo burns my eyes). Later the military got interested, using those rats succesfully in spy operations (...and girls locker rooms). Enhanced with different chemicals and substances they became faster, stronger and more agile than their precessors. As a side effect of this artifical chemical enhancement their fur turned blue and they grew more aggressive.
Somewhere in their history some exemplars broke free ( probably flushed down the toilet by the laboratory-cleaning-lady) and they started to plague our towns...
But like mentioned, this is only a rumor and probably just another urban legend floating around in dusty bars around the world...

concept: The Murlugen
This 3 eyed feind of the Trellek Mines, likes to scout for its food with its ultra oblong widescreen vision. Due to this it has large outreaching arms to its sides which are often wavering around, and you really dont want to get caught by one!
Its agile with 3 legs, providing awesome balance and speed, not to forget the arms that allow it to swing from the rocks.

concept: Blofoor
This race was created by Karista, one of the most talented wizards of the city Alturag. The Blofoors are intelligent species, who can tell stories, riddles and tell what the future brings. They can't talk to people but they are telepaths. Karista was truly surprised that their creatures can so easily tell these stories. She didn't realised that she had created spiritualist creatures. Blofoors have three eyes. One eye can see the past, one can see the future and one can see only the present. That's why they are so talented. However, this talent was first noticed by the Lords of Alturag and then estimated as very dangerous. Finally made creatures and their creator doomed.

Look out!

Words cannot describe how amusing I find that image. He tied with Oddo (very nice concept, with such a soothing pallet), but humour won in the end.
