Wow, this is very exciting! It looks like it was down to one vote for our round, so congrads too Gloklund and Carnifex (sweet sweet Carnifex) for the run. I'm glad you guys got your pieces done and i enjoyed the hilarious smack talk you guys provided. Nothing but props to you guys. Thanks Lyon and Cody for getting this together and making it happen. Great Judging, I agree with the judging exactly 67%. Haha, I posted my pics for the winners and 60/90 were the same as I had guessed. Unfortunately on of the rounds that I didn't get right was my own

But I had some badass competition and Fudciuose yours rocked, so I don't mind losing to you.

I'm curious about this whole reserves list thing for round 2, I would definitely like to be on that. But I think I'll do an entry for the next round for fun, regardless.

There is no reserves list for Round 2. I'll be starting up a thread where you can vote for who you think should advance if a spot should open up. In otherwords, your fate lies in the hands of your peers.

Congratulations to everyone, whether winner or loser. Incredible job overall. The people who actually participated in this fiasco should be really fuckin' proud of themselves.

A special Match 11 congrats to the Bowlin Ball--Well done and a deserved win--and how does it feel to tell your mum you won by beatin' up a senile old blind man with no fingers on his right hand?

I've gone through every entry and the results, and for what it's worth, I came to the following conclusions (I'm doing it in reverse order so it makes more sense, at least to me...)

Out of 90 matches:

11 entries lost that I thought should have won hands down. Obviously a difference in taste between me and the judges. One of these was an entry that I thought was outstanding for various reasons, but I can't mention which because the actual winner was also good, just not as successful in my opinion.

32 that won didn't really meet the full requirements of the rules, and by this, I don't mean the art was bad or incorrect, but the "Welcome to..." part was simply left in the dust. My original list done 3 weeks ago hit every one of these right.

47 of the winners matched my list exactly AND (I think) did well with the "Welcome to...) part of the competition. Of these, I had 13 that really stood out for me for various reasons...

FINALLY--Cody, my greasy hat is off and I'm bowing in your direction (either that, or I'm constipated again--never sure any more). One hell of a job in organizing and bringing to a successful conclusion. Oh, and a grateful "Thank you" to our hardworking judges, even though I don't necessarily agree with you in a few spots.
