Finally, officially started.
I'm doing composition thumbnails right in this very moment

and even if others are doing the same subject as mine I don't really bother: mine will be better!

If I ever find the right compo.... :?

Rough comps are finished, taking it to the final drawings. Need some more reference first. Will be working out color comps this weekend with final drawing.... Everything is going much slower than I hoped, but I like where it's going....

Not to put too fine a point on it SeanyD..but why not get started on an entry just in case you get called up? I would imagine that it would keep you on your toes and in fighting form, no? Cheers!

hey Cody, you know what I just thought of? Maybe we can convince Manchess to judge. I know he won't be able to bust out his hellish, in depth crits for everyone in the dome, but hey, you never know.

BTW would no topic change and a total style and medium change for round 2 be totally fiendish?

It would, but would also be a very interesting challenge (not that I think I have much of a chance in the first round alone, but I plan on following and doing work from the sidelines even when eliminated). Dont know how others who have more experience in different mediums and styles would feel about that, might not be as fun for them.

gives a slight helping hand to the versatile. of course with the way things are you might not be able to tell a medium change, and some of us use a bunch of media in turn on any one image anyway.
I don't expect to have to deal with round two either actually. I competing against two smart assed art students....
