I'm going to MS Paint some vulgar graffiti on all of your entries... a couple of mutant penis monsters here, a couple alien mouth-vaginas there, a portrait of Sundance's mother from behind. But you've all probably seen photos of that last one anyway... BA ZING!

My Round 1 entry is basically an adaptation of a song. and even though the illustration is full of de poo, i really did enjoy having the song as a starting point. so having one for Round 2 would be cool. But knowing Cody, he's already got some great ideas kicking around in his head for Round 2

I think the nice thing about it being specific instead of a range, is it's a good limitation. The range of options you have within one song is huge. If the pictures are a free-for-all it would be even harder to judge under the criteria of "interpretation of topic" and it would make them even harder to compare.

That's the nice thing about "Beginning of the End" a million ways to interpret it, but if you make a picture that is just way off, you didn't follow the contest correctly. And that is something more solid to judge and compare pictures by.

Just my opinion, but specific topics are good and force people to really think about what they are creating.

I was wondering also!

I updated my file about an hour and a half before the noodling deadline...

I think I almost quite like my pic now... after some major tweaking!

...haven't seen any posts from my competitors though... so I hope they haven't 'forgotten' their entries...
