Aaaaalright, back by popular demand :p Here's a few fairly recent sketchbook pages, i haven't been very active lately but i've got some things in the work. I'll try to keep 'em coming more regularly ok?

i like the fact that you seem to be very confident when sketching also, you have a vivid imagination, and that makes every single sketch very inspiring.
i would suggest that you practice drawing faces a bit more.

Thanks man, funny how you've picked out the doodlediest doodles out of the lot. Ironic how those tend to turn out more vibrant than the more polished stuff.

Ok, here's one more. Intended for last week's CHOW, but they didn't feel original enough, so i left it at that. Next time up's gonna be some model sketches.

    Great!

I like your sketches very much, and you seem to be a very hard (and prolific!) worker. Your color sketches are especially nice. Keep on posting...

@kevphil: I'm reall not that prolific: a lot off this stuff's pretty old. I'm not actually just picking up momentum again from a though lag. Still need to bring up the discipline to work harder. Still, thanks a bunch.

Ok, i've scanned and photographed five and twenty of my model stuff, and i'll be damned if i ain't showing all of it (yes, even the real crap ones). So here's the rest. Next up i'll try to do daily sketches. See what comes of that.

Lot: There's a few things at epilogue. About the colour stuff, i kind of feel the same way. Like i'll stuff it up if i try more polish.

    Bartovan: Thanks man!

I've started a new sketchbook this Newyear, and i told myself i'd draw in it at least once every day. So far i've kept my promise, and here's the results. Some of it is from a trip to London. There's also some work from the previous sketchbook.

I love it when somones art work makes me smile, its like reading a really enjoyable and interesting book. I like your studies and experimentation with colour. What you do works for me, you've an iteresting collection of characters adn I like that, seeing the mermaids brought back so many memories and I thank you for that.

I'll be watching out for more of your work definately

Nice sketchbook title- you had my attention at 'nipple'.

Looks like you're having fun with your sketches. Even though it looks like women are your forte, I like the variation in subject matter and techniques.

Let's keep it poppin' in 2007.

By the way- what kind of sketchbook are you using- what's the size of it?

LateNiteHype: Thanks, glad the nipples got your attentiion. About the sketchbook, it's an A5 i think, don't know the brand. I'll let you know.

Achadobu: Thanks as well; if you're really patient there might come a good version of the demon guy, as well as a bunch of the other concepts.

These are from a jam with ink and charcoal i did a few weeks ago. They're studies, so something else should flow from them, but probably later than sooner. Hope you like them a bit.

Nice drawings -- you certainly can draw women. I'd like to see a few dudes, too. On your digitals, I think you need to tighten them up a bit, and concentrate a little more on your planes, and reining in you values. Keep drawing!
