Duuuuuuuuuuude! I seriously love all of your line gestures in #402! That's the kind of stuff I wish I could do...

Yours seem particularly consistent, which is something that really impresses me. I really don't have any way to critique any of it...

Quike: It's allright, i bet you have a nice reiatsu too :p
Amontillado: Yeah, he's cool huh? Should render him some time (wow, that sounds familiar)
phil: Yeah i wasn't in that poll, but let's not go there. the emotional scars are only just healing.
    Mr. Wilkins: thanks man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HumbleHenk: Glad to be of service.
    zou: I will.
Gnoll: Man, that's quite a sandwich you've written there! First of all, i really appreciate your taking the time for your comments. I believe in general what you're saying is to need more reference? I have in fact been using it more, but in the pics you pointed i guess i could do with some more googling. In the case of the minotaur (was planning on working on that other version too btw ((ooh familiar))) i didn't want the armor to directly reflect any either western or eastern kind of armour. You think that's not working? Anyway, you can always feel free to give your opinion, i don't think it's arrogant and i can always put the input to good use. So, thanks!
Krigbrann. I'm only consistent in that i consistenly leave the worst crap out of the picture, but still, thanks very much.
Mischevoiuself: I'll try to keep on track, thanks!
    Writer: Geen probleem maat
    p sage: LOL! Kazing!

And some stuff from here and there, all Photoshop. The b&w one was going to be for a CHOW, but i lost faith and interest and i'm not sure if i can revive the damn thing. The line nudes are mediocre i know, but i've a small mountain of figure sketches i'll be scanning on of these days, so stay tuned for that! (If any of you actually stay tuned for this SB that is)

Here's the start of the sketches i mentioned in my previous post. The first 24 of about 500, so i think i'll be pretty busy if i schlep 'em all on here, not sure if i'm going too btw.

    Hello there walnut mister

Ahem.. kröh kröh kröh... i have been away a little... while... but will make update on the next week tuesday, broken computers missing cintiqs, the usual problem... will tell more closely then

Anyway, here are my musing since last post:

-Lovely unicorn ladies there, i noticed the digitals in post 402 and further, nice line and colours but shadow is missing. You might want to update them using multiply layer to add some shadow over there.

-You have been drawing lovely ladies, again. And it shows, 500! *audience cheering* your line and form quality is starting to get smoother and describe form better, impressive! (next thing now is to draw series of those ladies in normal clothes, like 50-100? Maybe we will make this as our next challenge when i will be back next week?)

-Digitals has some adventurous lightning i have not seen before and i really liked those latest nude digitals, so expressive in colour.

Well thats about it, keep on keeping the thread tittles interesting and that pen of yours flowing...

Quike: Hah, that's more like it! And yes, that is a lot of scanning. I must be mad to put them all up here.
Nettle: You know i was wondering where the hell you'd gone off to. You'd better have some sweet updates to make up for it! Anyhoo, thank you for your comments, and yes those digi charas need more work and shading and well, everything really. Those digi nudes are from a characterdesign.com's photoset btw, NO colourpicking! And about that idea for 100 clothed sketches in a week? Fuck yeah, bring it on brother! You just pm me about that one. Till the next, and hope your PC troubles fade away soon.

    And here's the second barrage:

thats just mad man, seriously. I cannot imagine how much coffee it would take me to draw that much. also, I cannot imagine how I could help you improve here. My knowledge of anatomy is rather small. anyhow, they look good and dynamic to me. you handle the female form very well . keep em coming I guess. no need actually to tell you

Just for your information i'm going to keep posting these till someone yells STOP! Starting to lose count here :p
oh well, sorry to tell you man. we knew you would say that. actually its quite a conspiracy. all the CA members were PMed about this. nobody is going to yell stop, until you drop dead. good luck anyway!

    maximunkie: Thank you very much
ф phil: Yeah, i know, that was me doing the PMs. Like hell i wanna stop doing this :p I have to say anatomy-wise there's some hiccups here and everywhere, but i think this has been sharpening the ole' skillset a little.

So i haven't heard anyone say STOP yet, so here ya go:

Holy cow your figure sketches are mind-blowing!! They're all from imagination aren't they? Excuse me while I pick up my jaw from the floor ... Have you any tips for drawing the human body from imagination? I'd be very grateful =)

to everybody: thank you very much for showing your appreciation, to be honest i'm not sure if much of it is truly deserved, but it does give me the fuel to keep plodding ahead.

erdbeerfeldheld: You learn how to draw bodies from imagination by drawing them from life, is how i experienced it. Getting ref from pictures works up to a point, but model classes are the way to go here. If you can find one near you, sign up!

For a challenge: 100 dressed poses, all from ref. Again to be honest, i rushed through them and a good bunch can only be described as subpar. I've the feeling i'll need to do some more of these to reaaally get the hang of it.
