Urgh... think I over mixed the colours/got it all wrong haha ^^;
Decided to use one of the panels from my storyboard as an illust, still rough stage:
Fishspawn: Hahaha thanks man!
Well it seems I've gone awol for a while... I've been a bit busy over the last 2 weeks working on 2 websites (update for main one plus a brand spanking new one I'm building which I'm gonna spam everyone to visit once it's done). Have been drawing too, kinda different things then usual.
Hockay, first up sp's:
Over 3 days SP:
Over a while sp (still working on it hahah)
My first attempt with gauche on canvas pad (bad idea idea to use canvas pad)
Over 3 day gauche practice (on water colour paper)
Paint from window:
nother (modified slightly)
K that's about it, gotta get back into everyday update gear
Craig Houghton: Thanks ! Trying to improve myself by painting from life.
Hockay, been awol again, and going awol for a little bit more... Finished 2nd page of thumbs (they are 800 px wide each, so good enough to take ones I like to a more finished state).
Another paint from life (need to refine this more)
The Gouche practices are cool, I want to try that out as well one day...
Why am I not seeing everything you post? The last post for example, I don't see any images at all? Even no broken link 'X' symbols.
Whitevillage: I don't know, might be something with ca?
Okay, sorry for being awol for a while again. Promise to update more, now that I've updated my website!
http://www.artbypavel.com come visit me
Okay some more thumbs
A ng photo study (palettes plus painting ocean)
Rhineville: Thanks man! Hahaha we just need to work on sucking less each day
Well, wanted to do a quick jungle paint study..... but.... got carried away.... and it doesn't look like the reference I started with. (I apologise for sticking a url in there, but I needs some traffic to my site << , so it's mainly for stuff I'm posting on my blog.)
Wow, your enviroments are looking really great! Even the ones without much detail capture the feeling so well.
Your thumbnails are awesome too, there seems to be so much material in them for some great pieces.
Can't wait to see more.
some more nice thumbnails! They have a lot of character, the middle and right look the best although in the right one it is a little confusing as there isn't as obvious a distinction between foreground and background.
I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with it!
Well... update with this weeks EOW... damn I left it till last minute again. And should do more studies... really felt my skills lacking while doing this. Well I finished an EOW, so that's a start.
"Every morning would start out the same on EN457. Mirsky and Lainer would go ahead and inspect the nearby ecoi while waiting for the three new guys to stop bickering with the team at the base control centre on why they get sent out so early each day. However, this days argument Mirsky would never forget, as that morning something went horribly horribly wrong..."
very cool stuff... i love post 314 very cool keep up the cool work
Please visit my sketchbook ….I love the feed back
The greatest achievement is selflessness.
The greatest worth is self-mastery.
The greatest quality is seeking to serve others.
your environments are getting better and better! i would look into having more of a "hotspot" where your eye goes, some of your environments are kind of the same value throughout. i mean, i know where to look, but maybe push the atmospheric stuff.
Fishspawn: Hey wes! Nice to see you active again. Trad stuff incoming!
Blue Severin: Thanks man
hp: Yeah your right, I've been having a problem if finding why my stuff look boring - I think now I've got an idea of what to fix. Same value everywhere is one of things for sure. Cheers
Well, uni has started so monday and tuesday are pretty packed for me. So I'll update now with life drawing stuff from monday, my pencils have gone rusty... need to study some techniques.

Wow, talk about an inspirational punch in the face! I have the exact opposite problem--my strength lies with people, but I'm HOPELESS with environments. Your steady stream of work and consistent quality is getting me all pumped up to start a similar endeavor. Thanks for the boost! I'll be watchin ya ;D
you are my hero.
i can't get enough of your art, and your style as well.
Nice stuff- I think i've seen it before on deviantart... kinda moving away from there. Either way, keep at it.
Lexxy: Oh wow! Thank you hope it all goes well!
sushibento: Hahah thanks, although I'm not sure about the hero part .
Farblade: Yeah I have a dA account, but it's mainly to drive traffic to my site. The community on CA is increadible
Well, sorry haven't updated in last few days but here we go!
Took one of the thumbs and working on it further:
Some animu... (the sky falling!!!). Haha, you can see I've been looking at falcoons work a bit too much.
