I dunno about your enviroments (lack in atmosphere maybe), but your character designs are strong, especially the cyber guy with the cain.

I did a project at college this year, only a small one, that was about primates. What I was doing was just sketching from photos, good excercise to get familiar with the animal kingdom. Hard to do colour studies of them because they lack in colours really (apes), so i think the images here are done really well.

If you didnt use photo reference as a basic guideline then you should, it really helps, helps me anyway.

I wonder who inspired who, the Halo Artists, or the Artists for Blade 2.

As for the enviroments, I guess I just like things more solid and vibrant. Maybe just a personal tase where we clash

    Hi Fl3wk,

What do you mean with inspiration, i didn't really understand it? Sorry, i'm just not so advanced english-speaking person.. I don't get the connection between Halo and Blade...
Nevertheless, i'm a very sick fan of Halo and had this revolutionary idea: "HALO, THE COMIC"! Being so proud of myself for having such an incredible concept, i found that comic has already being done by some of the greatest masters like Moebius & Co
So now i'm pissed. First of all: someone already did it, and secondly: someone much better then me did it.
    Sh*t.

Well just in case your dont know:

Blade 2 is a film where an African/American vampire can walk in the day. He tries to protect humans from vampires. Well, on Blade 2 his foes are...zombie like, they are like an advanced vampire race that were created by the current vampires. Well these advanced vampires look 'a lot' like this dude you are showing, just in the mouth region though.

Crappy short description, but busy doing studies ^^

i like the last one, its a very 'clean' study.

I really like what you've got going on in "Cruiser" and "Scout". The sort of monotone color and the extreme shadowed foreground element. Very effective. Excuse me if I copy that idea in some future sketch!

Great stuff all over! Give us more!

Wonderful. Your older work is ridiculous and amazing. And I like where your newer work is going. Your characters are really impressive, I'm really intrigued by the boxer-face one. I like the way you obscure things with shadow, very nice.
