Nice work yet again, you create some nice textures with your brushwork.
I hope things will go a bit more easy on you.

    Keep it up!

Two shacks and a purple field

    Hey folks,

Matte_Art: Yeah, that is a good point but sometimes, when it's casting light situation, you loose a lot of that haze. Still, I think I made a mistake here. Cheers!

biggjoee5790: Thank you for nice words.

hurricane: Thank you buddy, I have had some dark clouds over my head but it's getting better now.

    MatejaPetkovic: Hvala velika, Mateja.

Hideyoshi: Master Hideyoshi! Vielen Dank, Kumpel.

    Ghostbrush: Cheers, Alex!

Darkside: You know, it was really hard to resist the temptation of putting some huge robot in the bgr but I just felt like landscape alone is all I feel like inside somehow.. Thank you very much!

Nubb: Haha, thank you for such nice words, it really, really means much to me.

Shadow Stalker: Thanks, glad you like it.

    Vulgar`: Thanksssss!

Quinn Simoes: Thanks a lot, Quinn. Need to do more of these still..

Nicky S: Thanks Nicky, they already are.

B-Man: Mahalo back to you Cheers!

    Ok,
One more. I hope I am not getting on your balls with this. But I really feel like landscapes are enough on their own to fill your heart with all kinds of things.
I am not only practicing but actually more relaxing and letting my thoughts wander away in these fields.
    Thanks for dropping by,
    Khan

    Ahh how relaxing!

You've been capturing the serenity of these scenes lately!

I hope they're fun to do...

    How's everything going Kan?

Oh I hate it when all the leaves fall and the cold winds start to blow. You know that the pretty colors on the trees just is a consolation for whats about to come. I think hell is a cold place not that hot fiery pit. sory for rambelling I guess your painting takes me places. Lovely painting.

    yo!

Matte_Art: Hey there! I'm slowly recovering from stress within. Thanks for asking, buddy.

burialchamber: Thanks a lot, I am glad it shows.

pao: Hey brother, thank you very much. You are rocking those updates lately.

Ghostbrush: Hey Alex, thanks a lot man. Hope you're well!

B-Man: There are moments where you catch yourself between fear, joy and pure nostalgia. When autumn leaves.. There is this great old song about it. Thank you very much.

Nicky S: Cheers mate, glad you like it!

Braintree: Yeah man, go for it. It is so realxing and inspiring, really.. Fuck the monsters, realism rules!

Fumble: Thank you kindly, I am really glad it shows.

    Ok,
This is a little dump from my Nintendo DS. As discussed with Ghostbrush, I have it everywhere I go and use any given moment to paint what I see.
The downside of it is that you can't really work outdoors because you won't see a thing on your monitor. But a good, warm cup of tea in a cafe makes a sweet little base to paint what is outside or/and inside.
I think, if Monet had one of those Nintendo's, he would probably carry it everywhere around.
    Hope you guys like it,
    Khan

The top DS study, with the table and plant I like the most. The more clearly defined lower area makes it feel... focused!

    More DS

    Hey folks,

B-Man: Hey mate! Type Nat King Cole's "Autumn leaves" and you'll know what I mean

    Dished: Thanks a lot!

Darkside: Hey there! Yeah, it's mostly on the location. Such a great little tool, isn't it?

    surrealitycheck: Cheers, bud!

    Ok,
More DS studies and a 15min sketch in PS. I was inspired by this wonderful painting of an injured woman on a field, cannot remember the name of the artist.
    Hope you like it,
    Khan

Certainly do - you're thinking of Andrew Wyeth's "Christina's World", and this reminded me of it, immediately as I scrolled down the page before I'd read your comment.

Beeen busy with the DS I see! great stuff!

I have been carrying mine with me everywhere, colour studying, its really quite enjoyable.
Its both weird and exciting when you start to notice colours in the scene your painting, that you had not seen on the first glimpse, hope I can retain that knowledge.

Back in London as of sunday! pretty much down for good too!

All the best and thank you for posting the DS studies, very helpful, will post mine when I have a few too post.

Epic song mate. On my playlist of doom now. Thanks.
Lovely update. The small ones lack a bit of depth, but the dark value range create a nice mood. The last one stir up a lot of emotion. Its a uneasy feeling in a way. Maybe thats just me.
    Cheers!
