Nooo!!! I made it to the end of your sb! I went from page 1 man.... That was a lot of reading and admiring. There were breaks in between because you inspired me so hard, I had to go paint something. Im curious. That girl, the warrior guy with the twigs, and this new girl you are painting...what is the process...It seems different from you're old digital glazing ways..

Anyways, subbing because this thread is mad sexy and such!

It feels like I commented yesterday, yet 2 more pages have come and gone. Make less friends so you can fit more art onto each page

Boxers, one hell of a way to master male anatomy. Do you have a full time job while you keep up with all this!? See you around friend

Jakers: I do anatomy in the morning then these boxer studies... I work all the time anyways just cant show any . doing freelance a lot at the moment so thats kinda like a fulltime job. Thanks dude!

Seage: I'll try and post up a link to a download of one of the psd's soon... Just give me a few and I'll put one up with a description or somethin. I'll try and make something cool. Thanks!

    agelaos:

algenpfleger: usually, but only because its way faster and I like to work fast. I don't enjoy gettin hung up on playing with color schemes so it makes for a more enjoyable process.............................. Thanks

This weeks studies and todays boxers

Awesome studies and boxers, you should do some rocky studies
When you do those anatomy studies, do you draw all 18 with reference ? or just the first with reference and the rest without?

The anatomy studies are Bridgman, correct? I'm looking for more anatomy reference books and I like the way the muscles are separated into discernable portions in your studies. Seems like that would make it easier to commit them to memory and be able to compose a human form at will. I commend you on the discipline. It's not always fun to do studies.

Man, those studies are outstanding! And what a good idea to draw the anatomy studies more than once... i'm just surprised by myself - never thought about doing that.

    Thanks for sharing and inspiring!

I love seeing your studies in pencil.. I'm curious as to what mind frame you're in when you do those multiple copies from bridgeman etc. What are you thinking about when doing each copy. Since they're repeats of the same thing, I'm interested in seeing what you get out of copying the same drawing 18 times or so. maybe more what i mean is HOW(the mind frame) you go about getting what you can out of it

It's just that I can imagine it'd be easy to accidentally slip into a simple copy mode, if you know what I mean

great work man! those studies are awesome. Gotta ask one question though - why do you draw the same pose over and over again? is that your way of making yourself remember the muscles and stuff?
