Torso and legs. About 40cm tall. Convert it yerselves
edit: Woo, second page!
Not much update on my sculpture nor on the manapunk image. Been working on the following instead.
Curse my short attention span! And I've yet to paint a background. Ever. remind me to practice landscapes, will you?
edit: Oh, and before anyone says anything, I wasn't exactly going for naturalism in this one.
I am very curious waht you want to do with your sculpt in your post from november 23th. The neck thing is looking great already! I'd wear it
The woman from post #63: I would advise to give the background a neutral colour/grey before you work further on that. White is not really the greatest surface to work om, because it often makes it dificult to judge colours and values (this forum has this strange khaki colour for a reason). Maybe start in greyscale completely to think out your design first.
+ Filled out sketchbook pages is a VERY good thing. Your rendering on those older drawings you showed is good. One comment though, your figures are a bit stiff still. Other than making them in extreme poses, you could try out different viewingpoints, for example.
Whoo! Crits!
The sculpt has sadly been down-prioritized as I have too much other stuff to do. I do plan on finishing it though, but it may not happen until 2007.
You're right about the stiffness, I'll try to work on that. Thanks for the heads up.
Attached is a ballpoint pen drawing from a few days ago.
hello!
Wel I must first apologize for not being around too often
BUT I must say that you have GREATLY improved from your very first posts.
Your anatomy has gotten much better!
I admire your sculpture work!
I've always had a difficult time in working in 3 dimensions
oooooo i envy youuuu!
Well, I envy your painting skills!Originally Posted by robin-eleven
Oh, and can anyone tell me how I get texture in my brushes in photshop? I fear I have found the wrong "textures button" or something.
Anyways, I've been thinking about how I should draw people interacting more, not just posing warriors or whatever. It's something I've been neglecting 'cause it's so boring. But now I've figured out how not to make it boring! Just throw in the naked lady!
edit: And I found out how to scan better! Niiice.
