This is my real attempt at making a daily sketchbook, ill try and update it consistantly. I'll probably be only putting up a page a day for a while until school and finals finish out. Today is some nudes, more tommorowwwww.

After being unable to scan for a few weeks I finnaly got it to work about a week before school was over. During finals week I was studying the entire time so I couldnt draw and by the time I could actually scan all the stuff I did looked like shit already. So im starting fresh here, on a new stream of updates. Cheeeers.

Hey, really cool man, great lines in the polar bear sketch. I think I would recomend you doing some portraits to study the face, seems as that's an area you're afraid of from times.

Its not so much that im afraid of faces as much as that... whenever I try to do a study and include the face I just focus on it the entire time, get frustrated and the study looks like crap. I put off faces for a bit of time to study the rest of the body but will definatly be doing more faces in the near near future. For today though is some, yes, i think, yah, think it is, yes, crap.

Man this thread is a treat.

not bad at all for a 15 yr old chap!
What I could see you working on is lineweight and accuracy. The hatching is done really well but it doesn't define the form as much as it should. Along with the even lineweight, I see mostly really nice hatchings and a silhouette. I can see you have good control already so all you need to work on is structure.

That pig with the rockets looks like he's ready to roll!

Cool animal studies, light. The faces are all 'cutified'. I'd love to see some rendered out a bit more, but looking good as it is.

Maybe a few realistic studies too, just for a change? (or to gratify my animull lovin' tendencies...)

Hi, light! First post of the newly formed Trés Cuté SB Group!!!

The orange haired pirate girl color choices are awesome. And that puppy head is tooooo cute for me to stand. I will have to squish it.

I would just suggest doing more internal fixing up lines before you lay in the darker outlines on things. You're really creating a great style here and you're getting close to pro level!

Bluemech- Yah, its been a while since I rendered fully but im trying to keep the studies quick. Will keep it in mind for next couple studies tho.
Blue- Yah, I figure my pencils are better then my digital, even tho that aint saying much
