    Block Braker!

    I've had a god damn block for the last few weeks! sooo damn frustrating! anyways... the "Brain Cloud" is clearing up and I'm not gonna jump into the volcano any more! who got that ref? lol... OOOoookay... lil' girl holding a teddy and a butchy! mostly focusing on coloring and not form.

    I really like the attention to detail especially the reflection of her dress in the knife blade.

    only other thing I noticed is that the top of the legs (where ther meet the dress hem) could perhaps do with a darker shadow value like above the left hand, to help create a little more depth.

    Woo, intriguing image! Sometimes it helps to focus on one thing to explore, so with the coloring.. some good stuff going on in Wetterschneider's SB to check out (most recent page) and look at what Form talks about.

    Maybe you could try some of the same exercises- in this painting you posted the local colors are nice, so run with it! You could really knock it up a notch with a spiceweasel or two of warm/cool contrasts.

    PS Joe vs. the Volcano is one of my favorites. hahaha, brain cloud...

    Im interested in the hair glow circle on her head, it looks somehow like wrong but yet right, if I painted hair glow like this it will look sooo wroong !!!! I like the teddy bear too it looks so cute and love the shiny spots here and there
